He pinned a Russian fascist manual to the top of the group chat which also detailed how to target asylum seekers and avoid the police. He seems to have also posted quite a bit of antisemitic content too.

Cleverly is having a hissy fit about Chagos, conveniently forgetting his own involvement 2 years ago

Im sorry to hear about the cats, so distressing for you, very sad. The Finnish Nazi, Rasanen, comes from a far right family apparently. Dreadful people. Anyway, here's some tax for the new thread. This tablet stuck in Safe mode, can't access photos so no idea what it's going to be. Hmm. One and a half dogs. Not good enough. I'm in your debt. Off to try to fix this thing.

You must be thick as pigshit if you need instructions on how to commit arson. I would hope those instructions had a preface on tying shoelaces and sitting the right way round on a toilet.

Thank heavens above we didn't need to rely on these brainboxes to fend off the Nazi menace when the country was in peril.

I don’t think anyone ever accused them of being bright. Or even of average intelligence tbf.

PandoraSox · 03/10/2024 13:13

Oof. Right wing tempers are fraying on the Starmer/Steamer rumour thread.

And once again it seems to come down to PS vat....

I am surprised the thread was allowed to stand

Also, if the Tories didn’t like the rules about what you can claim, they had 14 years to change them. There’s a reason they didn’t.

I highlighted the probable real reason on the Brexit thread (even the BBC admit it) which is that Europe really has lost any interest in the UK and it's interests when it doesn't affect them.

Also, international courts have repeatedly found the UK has acted unlawfully.

bombastix · 03/10/2024 14:24

Cat tax - thanks for the new thread.

A lot of people on Twitter having a total meltdown over the Chagos Islands. Most of them probably hadn’t heard of them until a couple of hours ago.

Another good idiot yardstick then.

How the fuck is David Lammy the first foreign secretary to visit Dublin in 7 years? I mean I know how, Tories, but FFS they are our closest neighbours. It’s not like we’ve got a land border between us that we’ve fucked up is it?

Brussels, Paris and Clacton are closer to London than Dublin ....

Belfast isn’t. Last time I looked it was still part of the UK.

You and I know that. However I don't think any of the previous government did. Moreover it didn't bother them.

Notonthestairs · 03/10/2024 15:21

"Moreover it didn't bother them."

Still doesn't bother the Conservatives if their persistence in suggesting we must leave the ECHR is anything to go by.

ilovesooty · 03/10/2024 16:15

Boris Johnson's former aide was on Radio 5 live this morning positively frothing about Starmer and the donations. When he was asked about what Johnson accepted he said it was justifiable because you could take suits with you when you left office but wallpaper in number 10 stayed on the walls when Johnson left. 🙄

Oh dear. 😂 Which PM after Johnson does he think would want to live with Carrie’s tasteless decor?

Notonthestairs · 03/10/2024 16:36

Wonder if they left the extraordinarily expensive drinks trolley or whether that went with them.

The meltdowns are rather glorious

Grant Shapps and Conservative Post joining in the meltdowns too. Along with Farage.

The Americans are going to be really pissed off takes being slightly undermined by the positive messages from the White House.

Notonthestairs · 03/10/2024 17:19

For anyone that isn't on Twitter the Americans seem super pissed off 😡 -

Today’s new agreement between Mauritius and the UK on the status of the Chagos Archipelago is a win for diplomacy. It secures the operational future of the joint military facility on Diego Garcia, reflecting our shared commitment to a secure and independent Indo-Pacific region.
