Haha, one of them got extremely upset when I asked if they live abroad Grin

I class their posts in the same category as Johnson's book Wink

It's an extremely wet Sunday here and new potholes have appeared everywhere.

Tommy Robinson, the far-right agitator, faces immediate arrest if he returns to Britain this week ahead of a mass anti-government rally in Westminster and a High Court hearing that could see him jailed for up to two years…

A warrant for Robinson's detention comes into effect today meaning that he will be arrested as soon as he arrives on UK soil after spending weeks in southern Europe, from where he has been accused of stoking this summer's riots…

Wes Streeting gave a good interview this morning on Kuenssberg. Shame she didn't listen, kept asking preprepared questions and had a combatative style. She hasn't got a clue about how to interview someone who is happy to actually answer questions.

I think I've run out of patience on the 100 days thread. I've calmly told them that I'm giving this government time rather than cheering them on, and that leaping to premature judgement after 3 months is not politically astute. They're hardcore right wingers and they don't want to know.

DuncinToffee · 20/10/2024 14:58

Just go all brexiteer on them and say 'you lost, get over it' or mutter something about 'democratic vote'

Some people are going to be really triggered by that.

DuncinToffee · 20/10/2024 18:32

It sounds really odd but I love how just her name being mentioned sends some people into a spin.

You could say Rayner adopted 25 cats and someone - loads of people - would manage to make it a bad thing!

Are all the interns having the weekend off? I haven't seen any threads to resist for a while.

A few inheritance tax ones have popped up

I've only read one, it's pathetic. I couldn't be arsed to respond, I'm just waiting for the actual budget to be read so that I can digest it.

James Cleverly spent £655 a head on in-flight catering for one-day trip to Rwanda.

FOI request reveals then home secretary spent £9,803.20 on catering for 1 flight to Kigali to sign deportation deal that never deported a single person.

Ffs. How is that even possible?

Never forget we sent more Home Secretaries to Rwanda than asylum seekers.

RafaistheKingofClay · 21/10/2024 14:38

Wonder whether Starmer can find jobs for all the Tories Boris kicked out over Brexit. 😂

ilovesooty · 21/10/2024 14:39

More goady threads and posts today. And what part of not wanting to engage with certain posters do they not understand?

RafaistheKingofClay · 21/10/2024 14:43

Can we just move the budget forwards. To tomorrow or something. Feel like that would help make it all go away.

RafaistheKingofClay · 21/10/2024 15:15

The ambulance drop and go thing is a horrific idea. Dying unattended in a corridor is hardly a better option than dying before an ambulance can get to you. It’s just an alternative. I know LAS so this but it isn’t a thing to aim for, it’s a way of managing a crisis.

They'd just froth about what's in it instead of what they think is going to be in it.🙄

That would be an improvement on constantly making stuff up.
