Oasis tickets

So I didn't make the ballot so missed out on the pre sale and I'm angered that viagogo have purchased a load of pre sale tickets and are selling them for 600 quid each! It's a dream to see oasis in Manchester (my home town) and its looking very unlikely unless some miracle happens in the queue for general sale tomorrow... just ranting but please keep your fingers crossed for me

I highly doubt I'll get tickets.

It's disgraceful and one of the many expressions of what is incredibly wrong with our society. It's music, art, entertainment and by and large exclusively accessible to people who are very comfortable with money. It gives a terrible message to young people. Many families in our leafy area have taken their 4-9 year old dds to see TS as it was the cultural experience for middle class families with girls this summer and has become a huge status symbol. The girls who weren't taken by their families had to watch form the sidelines as their primary school fiends shared their understandable excitement for the better part of a year. We all know life is not fair but this is so money driven and machiavellian. 😏There are many creative musical and music loving youngsters who couldn't dream of attending these concerts and are excluded from this shared pop culture. It's not the end of the world but it's a shame and the push, rush and insane competition to get the tickets is utterly off putting. I would have liked to see TS as well as Oasis, I earn well but among all other things I cannot justify such an expense. It's all a bit tasteless.

I got the bot thing too and was kicked out. Trying on laptop now but I think chances are zero now.

was logged on from 7:30am, watching the countdown - on the stroke of 9am it all crashed. I did manage to get in a queue - but its the queue to get onto the site, not for actual tickets.... trying to get them for DD who is mid air ATM. Think I will give up at 9:30 having done my parental duty to try (I have screenshots 🤣)

my friend got 4 tickets for wembly, went to pay and was kicked out

We are 21000 and 31000 and 81000 plus in a further wait for queue on a 4th IP address (bound to be 200000 for that when it gets in)

Not used to this trying to get tickets . I remember when you'd find out about the gig in melody maker then be on the phone at 9am!

They'd have been camping for weeks for this! I used to sleep out for 1 night for Take That but they'd always be Spanish there with tents that had been there for days!

So if there’s 90000 people in front of me in the queue and the venue only holds 40,000 is there any point of me staying in the queue ?

Just over 100,000 ahead of me in queue. Was hoping loads would see that number and give up and leave!

Jeez…I’m 113000 in the queue, and Wembley has max capacity of 90,000…so not sure what the point is!
