I keep thinking imagine the parents waking up next morning (if they get any sleep) and thinking it must have been a bad nightmare and then knowing it's not.

Thinking your child is never coming home, playing with all their toys, never going back to school.

It's heartbreaking.

Exactly. It’s enough to make you feel physically ill.
its heartbreaking.

Ffs, he's sane and not Muslim.

DrRorysXmasCartoon · 03/08/2024 11:20

Of course he's not Muslim. His parents are Rwandans and most likely Christian. There is no indication this was religiously motivated or terrorism at all. It looks like this was a boy with lots of promise who grew into a very troubled young adult for some reason, his autism may have been a contributing factors if he didn't get the necessary support from family and school. It has been suggested that he was excluded at school for carrying a knife, if this is true and he wasn't able to complete his a-levels it could have been a trigger.

This is from Twitter not any verifiable source - it's possibly mis-information and also not really for speculation lest it damages the on ongoing criminal proceedings

Please be mindful of this

I live in the area, not from twitter/X at all
The school is Range High, which is the uniform he’s wearing in the pic, not a secret

Userjfxkgxkgxkgxkgx · 03/08/2024 14:04

And before anyone jumps on me, the police released the pic with the school badge clearly seen

And yet you felt the need to clarify and name the school. I’ve reported your post.

Well done you, report the police one too while you’re at it

Only you were idiotic enough to name the school.

That's good news. I hope they don't have life changing injuries and they and their families get all the support they need in dealing with the trauma.

ErrolTheDragon · 06/08/2024 17:40

...poor bloody police though.
