Unwell or over watered?

He's just been on holiday.

Smile

Rishi Sunak has said all the Tory candidates can just bring in games from home today. He's asked for three volunteers to help him clean all the wipeboards in Downing Street and Jonathan Gullis, Ben Bradley and Steve Baker have said they will if they can do it together.

I reckon we could get through another one before 'The Big Election Night' one...

He’s got the classic alcoholic look. If Carrie had any sense she’d have him in rehab.

I've just realised that we haven't received our voting cards. I might check with the rest of our neighbourhood and remind them that as long as they are registered, they can still vote.

SerendipityJane · 03/07/2024 09:18

It deserves to be recognised for making me look up "threnody" - which is a real word (and a Marvel character ? I've never got into superheroes ...) .

Alwaystired94 · 03/07/2024 09:19

feeling very happy at the prospect that in 2 days i could be waking up to a non Tory government. For the first time in my Adult life.

Haven't received my polling card though

BIossomtoes · 03/07/2024 09:19

Hugh Grant opines on Tories;

Happy election Eve, igotjelly feel exactly the same my palpitations have increased especially when I see the polls, I’m worried about shy Tories & reform.

It kinda gives me happy smiles to think which 'celebs' are vocally supporting which parties.

Good old Carol V is still team F the Tories ❤

SerendipityJane · 03/07/2024 09:31

Looking ahead, it will be interesting that any majority Labour may win will be without the need for Scottish MPs, which has been a persistent bugbear going back to the last days of Gordon Brown - it's why we got the EVEL shambles. However it also means Scottish Labour will have much less influence, compared to the glory days of when they swung votes in Westminster.

Interesting times.

They’ll have to find those achievements first. I’d have thought they were too small to need a sledgehammer.

I think based on Johnsons speech last night they must mean Brexit and covid vaccines.
Happy for Labour to "take a sledgehammer to Brexit" I.e. clean up the mess.
Covid vaccines aren't even a thing for most people so I'm not sure what sledgehammer he means.

Plus,it just makes me think of all the things the Tories destroyed under "austerity" when they got in.

I am a bit concerned Starmer is about to launch austerity 2.0 on us though
