There are no follow ups so I assume they are giving him the list of questions and he’s just giving the answers back.

Probably better. I might even start feeling sorry for him if he got eaten alive in here.

The first two questions on that thread are going to set the tone I suspect. 😂

I think I managed to make it clear in my question that I couldn't give a shit what he answer about anything. Manly because it will just be lies.

How does that song go ?

This was your heart
This swarm of flies
This was once your mouth
This bowl of lies
You serve them well
I’m not surprised
You’re of their kin
You’re of their kind

Aww the Labour candidate seems like a nice guy

He’s got integrity written all over him. Unlike his opponent.

SerendipityJane · 21/06/2024 18:23

That "other" thread is going well. Seems even the shillbots have given up.

I can't see MNHQ publishing the results.

RafaistheKingofClay · 21/06/2024 18:24

Some of those questions are brutal.

Do you think they will like my question?

"Mr Sunak, you aren't going to win the election, so is there any point me asking you a question?"

DuncinToffee · 21/06/2024 18:33

I asked a serious question in the hope my username gets mentioned.....

Edited

It most certainly is

I asked about eat out to help out which of course has nothing whatsoever to do with vote out to help out. The similarities are purely coincidental.

Honestly.

Cheguevarahamster · 21/06/2024 18:59

Well I've asked a question. I managed to get Boris last time so who knows?

Pretty certain there's a cream for that.

Farage is on with Nick Robinson. Watching with missiles by my side.

newnamethanks · 21/06/2024 19:05

Punting to be next party leader, either will do.

Who is interpreting ? Or does NR speak Russian ?

The reform thread has just made me look up the reform manifesto and their plan for the NHS. What a load of absolute bollocks.

The first 100 days:

  • all front line NHS health and social care staff to pay 0 basic rate tax for 3 years. - what about the rest of us? Why will three years encourage staff back? Who is paying for this?
  • End training caps for medical students - who the hell is going to do the supervision and training of all the extra students if you just remove the cap totally?
  • Write off student fees per year after 10 years of nhs service - with what money? How does this help junior doctors at the start of their careers being paid less than PAs?
  • Use independent healthcare to cut waiting lists - ok. This one is fair enough
  • 20% tax relief on private healthcare and insurance to relieve pressure on the NHS. Presumably the same private healthcare whose capacity we will be using to cut the waiting lists.
  • the point above will grow independent healthcare capacity - with what doctors? The ones you are trying to incentivise by paying them to stay in the NHS? Did anyone spot the problem with this when typing it up?

Thereafter

  • Voucher scheme for private treatment - presumably with all the spare capacity private services are going to have after helping cut waiting lists and people being incentivised to go private.
  • Operating theatres must be open on weekends - presumably staffed by estates or anyone looking not busy because all the doctors are working a full week in the NHS and doing a full working week private on top. And again with what money?
  • Cut ED waiting times using ‘pharmacy first, gp second A&E last’ - because all the people waiting 12hrs for a bed are definitely there because they didn’t go to their pharmacist first.
  • Tax incentives for pharmacies employing more staff to assist in relieving pressure on A&E - just remember in case of cardiac arrest, stroke or broken bone -just think pharmacy first etc. etc.
No idea if they have any plans for social care. Need to investigate further.

To answer my own question, it seems Farage has been to Russian finishing school. First joke about a happy ending will be reported.

I really like Ed Davey and would like to see more of him in the Commons. I like Daisy Cooper too. I’d vote Lib Dem if needed for tactical purposes.

Yes daisy cooper is a very good speaker on policy and great at explaining clearly.

Same as Angela Rayner - she was fab on the media circuit this morning.

Not to mention photobombing Rishi with a small boat is never not going to be funny.

From yesterday's Telepgraph (apologies if posted already, thread is moving fast)

The Tories have told candidates in “unwinnable” northern seats to shift campaigning to the south in an effort to avoid an historic defeat

Tories with majorities of up to 7,000 also told to effectively give up

An extraordinary email memo sent to Tory candidates in Labour-held seats has the subject line ‘Campaign support — Not in the north’

Urging people to campaign “closer” to the south it said: “Time is valuable and hours in a car isn’t getting votes, thanks”

Fuck nooooooooo!!!!!

Not my bit of the south please. I want Braverman gone not bolstered 🫣

What all that will achieve is to give a big, big present to private health companies, because they will be able to name their price for all that work they will be taking on. They will also have to pay extra to recruit doctors, nurses, therapists, radiographers etc - and guess where they will come from.
