Would you kill...?

Hello again

This is my 2nd crime related post of the night! Have been binge-watching stuff.

My questions are:

  1. is there anyone you would kill if you knew 100% you would get away with it? (If yes, would you want to do it yourself or via a hitman?) and

  2. would you accept say £1million but you knew that a random person you don't know would drop dead?

Bet I'm going to have some fcked up dreams tonight!

Thanks for any responses.

Jesus, can’t believe there are people who would take the million. Will you all have mirrors in your attic showing your true soul?!

How could you enjoy your million knowing the cost of it?

That’s properly evil!

  1. Yes if it was absolutely necessary
2. No, never.

2 Yes

susiella · 01/04/2024 15:14

3 Absolutely

AllProperTeaIsTheft · 01/04/2024 15:20

No.
No.

I can't believe some people are saying yes to no.2. With the first one, it would be for my own sake that I'd choose not to say yes, not for the sake of the child abuser or murderer I could choose to kill. I don't want anyone's death on my conscience, thanks.

Giggorata · 01/04/2024 15:22

No to both.

ChanelNo19EDT · 01/04/2024 15:59

I'm not rich! In answer to the question.
I'm the sort of person who plays over a comment that might have com3 across hurtful/thoughtless/snobbish. How on earth could I live with murder??????

Itsmeamandaberry · 01/04/2024 16:15
  1. Yes. There is one particular person that if I knew someone to "take care of them" I would 100% do it.
  2. Unsure if I would
wendywoopywoo222 · 01/04/2024 16:34

Yes and I would do it myself. I think anyone who says no has been fortunate not to have been traumatised by someone evil.

No not a random person for money.

PoorHammyHamster · 01/04/2024 16:37

1.. Absolutely. I have someone in mind 😂

  1. Not sure

No

Notinthemood12 · 02/04/2024 14:22

No would never kill anyone but there are people I would give a good beating if I could get away with it (in the workplace and animal abusers)

No way to number 2

BresciaBike · 02/04/2024 14:54

No.
No.
I'm not a cunt nor do I have a god complex.

beefmassaman · 02/04/2024 15:04

1.) I can think of one individual I'd like to see bumped off, but I'll keep it as a fantasy I think. So no, I wouldn't.

2.) God, no. I'm absolutely brassic but couldn't live with myself if someone innocent and decent died because of my greed. How could anyone?

It's a hard no to both of these questions from me.

The thought of such a thing is enough to haunt me for life.

I think it's kind of frightening how many people have said yes. It explains a lot about humanity.

Billionaires press the second button every day. However slowly, most billionaires make their money by people dying elsewhere. Heck, even choosing to retain their obscene levels of wealth is a way of pressing the button.

I wouldn't do the second. I would do the first.

MugLove · 02/04/2024 19:48

Heck, even choosing to retain their obscene levels of wealth is a way of pressing the button

This is true of almost all of us.

Boombatty · 02/04/2024 20:38

ByUmberViewer · 01/04/2024 12:06

😃

People are saying they would happily murder someone they know or a random person for money and you want me to "lighten up"?! FFS.

The button was for a million pounds, and I think that's a false equivalency, really anyway.

Kate from Hartlepool who's using her sweatshop smartphone to run a side hustle in her spare time so her kids can do swimming lessons isn't remotely in the same league as Bezos skimming millions off so he can buy that fifth yacht.

It’s not exactly the same. But neither is it entirely different. We all make choices to spend money on ourselves for non-vital things that could be used to save lives. Blaming billionaires is a huge cop out.

Boombatty · 02/04/2024 21:23

Not donating money that could save a life is not the same as murdering someone.

mjf981 · 02/04/2024 21:29

Yes. Without question.
Yes. I’d feel very guilty but I’d still do it..
