It’s interesting. She can’t have been blind to the potential for him to be a sleaze, she’d seen it all before with VB and DB and has been in these sorts of circles for long enough to know that this sort of man absolutely can’t keep it in his pants.
I think that she is probably quite humiliated by the banality of the chat and the pathetic clichéd fetishisation of stuff like Spanx and 50 Shades because it actually shows him up for being a boring, dim twat and therefore takes the shine off what seemed to the outside world to be quite a cool bloke to be married to. He will forever be laughing stock pinkie v winkie Glistening Finger now…(but, incredibly, people seemed to be able to get past the fact that the King once said he wanted to be a tampon, so maybe I am underestimating how short memories really are 😂)
I don’t think it’s necessarily a terrible decision for her to say to him that she will stay with him IF they actually do have an otherwise affectionate relationship, but I hope he is having his arse handed to him on a plate behind closed doors.
However I can’t really see the purpose served by the public show of support. If it’s to help him keep his job, why does it matter to Red Bull that his wife is forgiving him for what is a professional abuse of power? The impact on his job should be entirely unrelated to his marriage. And she would gain much more respect if she decided to forgive him but stepped back and let him face the music alone. It seems like maybe it is less about her being in the position of power and more him being ready to walk away and so she is clinging on? I hope not.
Separately, I think she looks lovely in the pictures from today. Say what you like about her, but she’s never succumbed to those God awful fillers and lip enhancements like Nicole Kidman or Posh. The dress is classy too.
I’ve seen her in real life, dressed down (but still in white/beige). It’s interesting that to look a normal weight in photos like today’s, you have to be extremely thin in real life, bordering on scrawny. She is noticeably tiny and fragile in the flesh, but this was over a year ago so not a recent thing. It must be really hard to have to keep up that level of appearances.
