Havoc I can see he's looked up books which are typical teenager type books according to DD - murder books.

Lovely crane MissC Hope op goes well.

Went swimming last night. Will go again tomorrow.

Mumtobabyhavoc · 17/04/2024 19:42

A lot going on under the surface, Penguinsa. Do you think he gets bored?

Penguinsa · 17/04/2024 19:47

Thanks Havoc I think he's started to get bored over the past few months as he's increased activities from just gaming to also going into garden, seeing silkies, conditioner etc and using microwave, oven, toaster, looking up books and opening presents. But he's still too anxious to leave house but am hoping he's watching TV and will move onto going out, he's going around house more.

Mumtobabyhavoc · 17/04/2024 19:56

That's pretty great, Penguinsa! 😃

bizzey · 17/04/2024 20:08

Lovely evening here in my house!

DS2 popped by ...to collect some stuff. ...and give me some washing!!

You know the one ..he moved out ...and I hadn't seen him or spoke to him for 17 days ..😅......turns out that was the best thing for us !

I got a hug and a kiss and a conversation!!! 🤗 🤗

And his washing has been sorted!

We played darts ...and I lost !

But we had fun and a laugh 😁 😁

bizzey · 17/04/2024 20:10

He got fed as well !😅

halfpasteleven · 17/04/2024 22:23

You sound like such a lovely Mum @bizzey 🥰

bizzey · 18/04/2024 00:04

@halfpasteleven ...thank you .😘..
Those words mean a lot to me x

I don't think I am a very good mum...but I do my best .

I am always happy that the boys chat/talk to me / have a laugh/play games ..with me !

So much so so that we are talking about a little day trip down to the coast /seaside that we always did when they were younger !

Can't afford a night away as that would now involve 2 rooms ...don't think we would be classed as a family room now now !

Will anywhere do 4 adults in a room ?

bizzey · 18/04/2024 00:07

Lovely ds2 is going up to nannies house (mam's ) when her shopping is arriving...so that saves me a job !

He will take it in and put it away xx

bizzey · 18/04/2024 00:30

Tomorrow obviously...not now !

bizzey · 18/04/2024 00:32

He hasn't seen her for a while ..but weirdly enough...she phoned me when he was here...!

bizzey · 18/04/2024 01:53

I want to go back to Havocs age group ...😘...
You know ....when they just live you for ...just being there and alive .....and constantly giving them food and drink 😅🤣🤣🤣

mathanxiety · 18/04/2024 03:26

Best wishes for your procedure, MissC.
Lovely duck and heron photos.

I have five baskets of winter outerwear and heavy blankets to wash tomorrow, which is a 'day off work' for me. No rest for the wicked...

Mumtobabyhavoc · 18/04/2024 05:14

They're growing too fast, Bizzey.

bizzey · 18/04/2024 08:38

Hope it all goes well MissC x

MissConductUS · 18/04/2024 12:16

Thanks, all. I exercised and just had a bit of water and black coffee this morning. I'm not going to spend all morning with a caffeine withdrawal headache on top of everything else.

It should be fine. I'm bringing my phone with me, so will probably check the thread later when I have time.

@MissConductUS
Lovely birdie pic as per usual!

Deathraystare · 18/04/2024 19:19

@HildaTablet

I can sympathise re the Moths. My friend had them but weirdly she did not chuck her unwanted clothes out she gave them to charity!!!

I shared my last room with a load of bed bugs. Ugh! Moved out in the end.

HildaTablet · 18/04/2024 20:20

I just killed a few more……😭

MissC, hope everything went well (assuming it's happened by now)

Mumtobabyhavoc · 18/04/2024 21:13

Oh, Hilda....😔

Miss, hope surgery went well!!! ☺️

MissConductUS · 18/04/2024 21:23

I'm in post-op, a little groggy but alive. I think I'm going to have a lot of bruising on my neck. People are probably going to assume someone tried to strangle me. 😀

Mumtobabyhavoc · 18/04/2024 21:41

I just completed the Strands word finder puzzle #46 very quickly and with a "Perfect" result. It'll never happen again, so announcing it here. 😁

Miss, thanks for the update. Take it easy. 💕

Hi All, I have been very busy so too industrious to qualify for boring or unexciting.
Oh! Gardener planted 3 fruit trees for me today before he cut the grass. In about 5 years I might have apples, plum and cherry sooner I hope.

Penguinsa · 18/04/2024 22:19

Glad you got through the op OK MissC

Just been swimming with DH and did 110 lengths, jacuzzi and steam room. DS took a bath whilst we were out and changed clothes.

MissConductUS · 18/04/2024 22:28

Hi @NewGirlinClass, it's lovely to see you on the thread.

If you're in the UK, I'm surprised they planted a cherry tree. I thought the needed a warmer climate. Most cherries in the US are growing on the west coast and it's a very short season to pick them.

We have a pick your own fruit farm near us and we love picking their cherries in June and July.

They've given me some Valium and I'm waiting for DH to pick me up. The post-op care here has been excellent. It's all private rooms and plenty of nursing care. I feel a bit spoiled. 😊
