MisscC ...that food looks yummy !

Was it just you and your DH at the tasting or do they arrange it that they combine couples ?

@Umanresources ..I am glad the wheelchair usage came off ok !

It is a weird feeling being in a wheelchair.

I was in one a few years back.

But I was determined that I would still do, the boys and mine little annual trip to the coast that we always do !

They were brilliant at pushing me around ....sort of 😂😂!

They took in turns to push me....
but I always knew who was pushing me !

ds1 ....very steady , calm and methodical about going up/down kerbs or bumps ...

ds 2 ...ohhh my God !...
I felt I needed a travel sickness tablet if he was pushing me ...
faster than the speed of light!

ds 3 ....push , push .stop.... long pause to catch his breath ! ...and continue 😂

Actually ...that's exactly how their births went as well 😂

DS2 decided he was going to be born ...20 mins later he was with me !

I got the dreaded passport photo sorted today as well 😮😮!

Mona Lisa ...it is not ! 😂😂

Think more ...." Rabbit in headlights " sort of thing !

Still it is done !

I only had a few days to go before I would have lost my payment application.

Just went to play on the vr (this is like once in a blue moon I never get a chance) and some fucker hasn't charged it it

Bizzey, there were about fifty people at the tasting. It was all of the couples who are getting married at this venue this spring. Our son came with us and lots of the couples brought family members. Two people per wedding could attend for free, any more you wanted to bring cost $75 each.

I'm currently waiting to see the neurosurgeon

MissC ....I had an image of you and your DH sitting at either end of a long banquet table , with stringed instruments playing Bach in the alcoves ......

I ordered an Indian takeaway tonight. First I ordered and it came to about same as normal. Then I read again and thought I have missed DDs veg korma so did a second order. Then thought hmmm prices have gone up a lot. Then I looked at first order and realised I had ordered 2 chicken Kormas rather than one for DS. 😂I had lamb passanda, peshwari naan and sag bhaji and was nice. Thankfully DH had done his don't order anything for me so he could have the second chicken korma and pilau rice and peshwari naan and sag bhaji instead of taking everyone else's. DD had veg korma, peshwari naan and onion bhaji. They gave us free poppadoms. It's lucky DS can eat industrial quantities and still stay stick thin

Penguinsa ...hummm ...yummy ..left over chicken curry /Korma from the fridge the next day for lunch ...is still one of my favourites!

And add in some left over Naam bread and Onion Bhaji things !!!

I think I still like to re-luve my youth sometimes 😂😂!

I have a lot more make up than normal tonight!

Normally nothing 😂. Haha !

Think it's a double cleanse job !

Am starting to hate the feel of make up on my face !

Had optometrist appt today and screening for baby. All went well. I'm going to start taking omega 3 supplements for my eyes though. They're a tad dry.
It's raining. Havoc finally fell asleep for a nap. Baby is nursing. I'm going to nap shortly. 🤞

I need to start taking some supplements as well.

I keep buying different ones ...but never know when to take them !

I really need ones that can be taken on an empty stomach ...and not the ones that need to be taken after a full meal ...cos well ...I forget ... ...
cos I am in an after food slump 😂😂!

And then by the time I remember...well ...I think my stomach is empty again !

Maybe if I just keep eating biscuits all day ...my stomach would be constantly full....and then I could take them whenever I remembered/could be bothered 🤔🤔🤔!

But then ...I would feel revitalised ...but fat 😂😂

Fresh clean face , cup of tea , biscuits (yes plural !!) and some joint and magnesium tablets !!

Let's see if I wake up rejuvenated , fresh and youthful 😂😂😂!!

Another meeting tomorrow afternoon with some more people to do with what mam needs .

I was all fired up at the beginning of this journey...now both mam and I are feeling ....ohh flip...now what do they want to see and do !

It's very stressful for her as she feels her house is on show and they are judging her 😕!

Like..they won't give her a new bathroom because her bathroom is not clean ...(It is immaculate!)

Think I might cook the Bolognese sauce here in the morning then take it up for our tea /dinner .

Am I the only one who really struggles to cook out of your own kitchen without your normal pots and pans !

And ...well ...just your normal routine ?

I have oddments of spices and things ...well jars on a spice rack !

And I just add different things as I go along !

Mam has a bit of salt and pepper ...and that's it !

Only because she lives alone and doesn't cook just for herself ...and because she is a worse cook than me !!

You need to come round to our house this Bizzey I think we have enough chicken korma for breakfast and lunch tomorrow. DH was 🤣 to himself about the quantity of currys we had when he came back from the Indian takeaway.

Floof and DH have been having a stand off. Floof thinks it's time for his 100th game today with DH now at midnight. DH thinks it's time to sleep. Floof keeps bashing his big paw into me to try and get me on his side.

Floof keeps playing like he is a standing meerkat.

DH Floof went to sleep.

Floof just woke up climbed out of his hamper and is lying next to DH with his paw on the tag but DH is fast asleep. I just stroked Floof and he purred.

Welcome, @gocompare, and thanks for sharing your mundane VR and device status news. Which VR system do you have, the one from FaceBook, or did you splash out on the new Apple one?

Bizzey, there was a menu of five cocktails they were offering, but I took no notice as we are teetotal. They also had champagne already poured at the tables when we sat down. The string ensemble did play some Bach, which was lovely.

Tilllly, this is my cat, Daisy. I snuck up on her while she was on her back sleeping and took the picture before she could object.

Love how you had to sneak up on Daisy MissC. She's a cutie.

Today was all about refixing hooks that had all decided to fall down within a few hours of each other 🤨. Perhaps I have ghosts? 👻
