Welcome, @strawberriesarenot, and thanks so much for sharing your calming and mundane gardening, sandwich making and jewelry news. I typically plant some flowers and veg on our large second story deck. We're a bit out in the woods, so if I plant most things in the regular garden the bloody deer and other wildlife eat everything. I'm considering skipping the deck garden this year as I have so much else going on.
Your dog is adorable, Tilllly. One of our two cats is named Daisy. I don't post her picture often; she's a bit shy. The small ginger cat whose picture I do post more is named Mingus.
We received an email from the wedding reception venue yesterday. They encouraged us to use the valet parking and revealed that there will be a cocktail hour during which we can try all of the appetizer options our daughter will have to choose from in addition to the starters and mains. This wasn't mentioned in their previous communication, and I am pleased we'll be able to give DD some advice on the appetizer choices.
According to my high-tech weather station, we had 2.54 inches of rain yesterday. It's over now, and thankfully, it will be a bit warmer today. When I got up this morning, it was -3C.
I'm off to the early church service shortly. Happy Palm Sunday to everyone! I promise lots of food pictures tonight or tomorrow.
