I'm scared

I know there's no magical answer but I just need to get my thoughts out. Sorry. I'm terminally ill. I'm 38 with an amazing DH, one adult daughter and one nearly adult daughter (19 and 17). I've just spent three weeks in hospital getting blood transfusions and iron infusions and currently I head to the emergency day procedure every three days for more. I have scope tests amd another procedure next Sunday. I'm in agonising pain, even with the highest dose morphine. I can do nothing for myself. I can't stop crying. I know there's people in far worse positions than me but I'm just struggling so badly at the moment. I know this thread is completely pointless to everyone reading it, but I just needed to vent, sorry

@Lwrenn he will be 4 next week. He's had words but regressed. We pay a private salt. I almost nutted a rude cow on holiday last year! Haha x

Things aren't good at all. I'm in agony. Nothing is touching it and I'm losing so much blood. i can't keep food down at all. It's horrendous

Ach no! I'm sure Ur exhausted! What about sips of ginger ale? Or flat full sugar coke. ? I'm lighting my candle right now.😔😔😔

What pain relief are you on @Underthesea65?

I've been struggling today, but the Oncology pain team adjusted the meds and had a prescription ready for me an hour later, and I'm back on an even keel

There is no reason for you to be in pain, there are a wide range of drugs.

@Underthesea65 So sorry to hear you are in so much pain. Can you ask for more pain relief? It sounds horrendous . Did the tests reveal anything ? Do you have a diagnosis as such? Apologies if I've missed this on the thread. Sending hugs 🤗🤗

Are you on slow release morphine tablets, morning and night and also liquid oromorph which you should be able to take as and when and as much is needed ?
If not, you should be.

I’m so sorry you’re in so much pain. I’ve had cancer three times (breast and lymphoma) and seen my mum die from breast cancer. I know how shit it is and I’m in tears here for you.
But, I’m also thinking and praying for you.
