Has anyone else seen this horrible news story? Apparently 9 people have been injured, looks like the original targets were a woman and two children.

What is WRONG with people?!

Granted asylum on third attempt after a priest supported his claim of conversion to Christianity.
How bloody naive is that?

Some Christian ☹️.

Watch you all sitting back and letting it happen? What exactly would you like the average person to do? You could lead the way of course if you think you know the best way.

I would imagine he injured himself while carrying out this terrible and chaotic act.

I would highly doubt she ‘attacked him first’

Yes, if the woman had attacked him first, the most likely thing is he would get out the way and make sure the children were okay; not go on the run; but somehow the woman and children end up in hospital and not him.
Seriously, it beggars belief that in yet another sickening example of male on female and children violence, there is still someone seeking to blame the woman and children.

The PP did no such thing. She didn't blame anyone, she was wondering about the chain of events that lead to his injuries.

How long could a wound like his go untreated? He’s bound to show up in a hospital somewhere

I hadn't seen this and can't find anything by googling it, so could I ask where it came from please?

You'd be amazed what people can survive without medical intervention. But it is likely to get infected and he would need treatment. I'd say it'd flush him out eventually but that's hardly certain.

Perhaps this Priest should go & visit his victims in hospital to see the damage his good intentions have achieved. Next time he will think twice before doing something so stupid

I really can’t believe how terrible this country has become in the last ten years . I really worry what kind of country it will be in another 20 years, I’m so worried for future generations it won’t the lovely county that a grew up in that’s for sure.

EvangelicalAboutButteredToast · 01/02/2024 22:46

As someone who came to the West because I value the freedom, tolerance and ideals, it is scary to watch you all sitting back and letting the awfulness we escaped from just waltz on in here.

There is a whole industry dedicated the making sure the UK government/courts/legal system cannot prevent illegal immigrants from coming in or being deported. It has nothing to do with the will of the people and everything to do with current laws.

Zonic · 01/02/2024 22:46

I can't understand why this man was allowed to stay here after committing a sexual offence. He's clearly a danger to women. Yet he was allowed to stay .

Rest assured when Labour gets in they will make sure the asylum system is overhauled so hopefully this won’t happen again.

Right. And that wondering started with the sentence ‘I wonder if she attacked him’, when an ounce of common sense would tell you that the current situation (a woman described as ‘vulnerable’ and two children in hospital and a man on the run) was not caused by self-defence.

I have just read the article in the Times which talks about him banging the youngest child on the ground. But yes, maybe she attacked him. Right.

SammyScrounge · 01/02/2024 22:50

That priest should be made to sit with the victims of his sanctimonious goodness and see the suffering he enabled. He knew that monster was a sex offender but still he paid no heed to the safety of women and children.
I hope his halo is choking him.

Emily1583 · 01/02/2024 22:50

He surely can't have got too far away with those recognisable injuries together with the high publicity this attack is getting for him to be instantly recognised + no car.

This is why they come . Not for our benefits but for our legal system that allows their appeals to drag on and on until eventually they settle down with a woman , have a child and then plead their right to a family life . No court will send that child's daddy away .

Tbf the whole set up enables gaming the system. So it’s no surprise people use that. The priest may not have the data on the offences either, unlike other organisations

The Priest got played. Maybe the Priest didn't know of his past

I totally agree . It is not racist to not want criminals to come to this country. Plus a man avoided a jail sentence recently because he allegedly did not know the age of consent in this country .BS , ignorance of the law is no excuse! If you want to come here and be a law abiding working citizen I don’t care where you come from. If you commit crime then go back to your own country. Your family can stay if they want . There i have said it!
