New M&S food store - must buys

Very excited that a new M&S food store has opened up where I live. What are your must buys? I'm going to create a wish list shopping list to start working my way through.

Has anyone mentioned the Yum Yums? Delicious. Totally not good for you, or me, obviously.
The Cranberry and Toasted Pecan loaf is good, and the Cheese loaf is ace when toasted. Slightly healthier than the yum yums.

I went today. Not one apricot danish, in fact hardly any pastries. I'll never forgive them, well I might if they have one next time I go.

I like the egg, tomato and salad cream sandwiches and the mexican bean wraps but I agree the prawn sandwiches are rubbish.

Currently eating the pistachio ice-cream off the back of this thread 😋😋😋😋

Frozen cauliflower cheese is delicious.
Rose harissa paste is good.
I think the Indian meals range is very good.

My Ocado delivery just came, so I’ve had a late night lemon curd iced bun!

I had to add on this thread that Hackney Gelato pistachio, almond and lemon is the very best I’ve ever tasted. Sorry M&S it’s at Tesco of all places.

I tried the sour cream off the back of this thread and agree it's lovely!

I agree about M&S soured cream, it's the best. I also love their really thick double cream. I also tried the lemon curd iced buns off the back of this thread which were really nice. I also picked up a pack of the iced fruit buns while there and they were even better.

I've just had an amazing find - Passion fruit swiss roll at a reduced price ! Also bought mexican dip ( having with sweet potato enchiladas tonight), cones from the bakery and lemon and lime marmalade.

Their red onion stuffing, their bakery cheese bread, the chocolate caramel wafers, their dark choc ginger biscuits, jelly beans, pink jammy buns, the posh dogs sausages, the cheese puff crisps.

These are lovely.

I was in Waitrose 2 to 3 years ago and they had put all their Hackney Gelato on clearance so I bought a few. It really is the best mass produced (albeit on a small scale) ice cream I've tasted. They no longer stock it so were getting rid of it. Ocado stocks it, but I didn't know about Tesco!

It’s not real gelato though - which doesn’t have double cream in it.

The Victoria Muffin from the bakery is amazing ! We were in Edinburgh last weekend and had one for the first time !! Cannot believe I had not had one before as I am a big M and S food fan .

Assumed they might only be available in the UK but went to search for them in Dublin during the week and found one !! My son said I actually shouted out in delight .......

They are divine. I always get one when craving birthday cake as it delivers the buttercream and jam fix every time.
