New M&S food store - must buys

Very excited that a new M&S food store has opened up where I live. What are your must buys? I'm going to create a wish list shopping list to start working my way through.

Collection sourdough baguette, pistachio ice cream, large teacakes (the "extra special"/whatever the name is ones).

Gourmet Chicken Kiev.

The four cheese ravioli ready meal and giant chocolate buttons.

Cinnamon bun from the bakery. Mac n cheese. Jam donuts.

Chocolate covered custard creams.
Devonshire cherry yogurts ( in glass jars. )
Sour cream pretzels.

I love cinnamon buns but always reluctant to try their ones as they look hard and dry! They are worth it then?

I was eyeing up their whipped butters today - one was blossom honey and cinnamon that I think would be amazing on porridge. They also do a maple syrup one which I've tried and was gorgeous.

Mexican layered dip

Tomato ketchup, tea bags and laundry detergent. Much nicer and I find cheaper than other brands.

They're almost always lovely. Sometimes a little undercooked in the middle (which I don't mind but some might). Not dry.

Lasagne - their best quality one (Gastropub range)

Chocolate Swiss roll - chilled

Very boring but their salted butter block is £1.90 and their mixed size free range eggs are £1.80
I always buy from our local M&S garage.
Both really good and excellent value.

Cherry Pie, cinnamon buns, frozen pastries.

I came on to post MEXICAN LAYERED DIP.. ( sorry for shouting).
Known as Mexican trifle in this house. That and Nacho Cheese Tortilla Chips…absolute heaven.

their mixed size free range eggs are £1.80

They're £1.30 at ours - total bargain.

I think the garage shops are always a little more expensive than the actual stores, so that's probably why.

I like their jalfrazi curry with rice ready meal for an emergency meal.
Kids like their alphabet pasta shapes for a bot of a novelty

Their frozen chicken burgers are amazing! Big chunks of actual chicken!

And their frozen almond croissants are fantastic!

@ScribblingPixie - you’re right! £1.30, were £1.25 until very recently. All a good size, most of them I think must be just a little smaller than large eggs. And lovely yolks!

Yes! And shortbread £1 a packet with the lovely stag picture on it.

Frozen haddock mornay.

I like their white and wholemeal loaves from the bakery, sliced in the shop.

Kenyan ground coffee.

Sparkling fruit juice in cans (there's an apple and rhubarb one and pineapple and passionfruit) - nice, not too sweet, sparkling drinks. I've had a few during dry January.

Special Thai chicken curry is amazing.
their salsa in jars is very good.
The Roman josh curry sauce in jars is good for an easy dinner.
the poussin are fab, like chicken used to taste.

my DC love the white chocolate milkshake. I adore the prawns. The butter salted is fabulous too.
Dont forget to use ur marks card as you will get offers on the food. Last time I went I got a free loaf and a pound of my bacon.
