So sad. He was a troubled soul. He worked so hard to overcome his addictions.

The last few posts on instagram were strange, talking about Batman etc. Someone commented days ago asking if it was a cry for help.

I am so sad to wake up to this news. FRIENDS was like a huge fluffy blanket you could wrap yourself in and it got me through many dark days. He was so troubled, but so incredibly talented.

I hope he’s now at peace.

I think only the women on the Friends cast were genuinely close. It was pretty obvious he had his demons. The media are quick to say no drugs because the powers up don't want anything affecting the Friends brand. Ages ago, there was a thing with Matt Le Blanc apparently being caught with a woman when married but I heard he was actually caught taking cocaine but this was deemed a bigger no no than being caught cheating so they gave the fake cheating story.

Truly sad news to wake up to. He was so troubled and was brave enough to speak about his mental health struggles. May he rest in peace.

Oh gosh. Just looked at his Instagram. It was a huge change the last few posts wasn’t it. He was in a downward spiral. However, they started 11 days ago and I’m surprised no one close to him didn’t pick up on it too.

It is reported he died from drowning in his home.

The cranberries post is weird. Dolores O’Riordan died from drowning. I’m not sure if he intended to hint to that.

Ok, I just looked at his Instagram and it’s really odd. To the extend that days ago people were asking him if he was ok and saying they were worried about him. The post with the cranberries seems odd when he asks if anyone knows what he’s trying to say…..the lead singer from The Cranberries drowned.

Any death is sad for the person and their family.

But I can't see how you can be devastated by the death of someone most people have never heard of, and you don't know except as a screen persona.

Honestly, get some perspective.

Grew up watching friends. So sad 😔

Genuinely gutted by this, he was always my favourite friend. So witty and hilarious. Rest in peace Matthew.
