I love it and I would totally keep those bathrooms.
Its like a Bond Villains lair but only one without millions

Maireas · 03/08/2023 19:24

Only £550k!!!! Sign me up!
I love that purple bathroom suite. The dark red one is great, too. Interesting house.
Fantastic view.

Occitane · 03/08/2023 19:24

It's just down the road from me, I had already looked at it! I love the bathrooms, and the master bedroom is my childhood dream bedroom, but not my style now. I really love retro stuff, and would keep those bathrooms.

StillWantingADog · 03/08/2023 19:24

Blimey. Everything about that house is hideous - except for the garden, which is great
I notice no close up of the exterior, I bet that’s hideous too.

that said, it looks like a great project for someone and could be amazing

NillyNoMates · 03/08/2023 19:27

I wouldn’t change a thing.

Piscesmumma1978 · 03/08/2023 19:28

I love it 😍 I thought it was American!

It gives me National Lampoon's Christmas vibes 🤣

Fizbosshoes · 03/08/2023 19:28

The bedroom and bathroom* are basically exactly the same as a Sindy doll house I had in about 1985.

*I might have made the bath or sink after watching someone make a DIY one on Blue Peter! (I'm imaging the ones on rm are real rather than Blue peter knock offs! 🤣)

allthegoodusernameshavegone · 03/08/2023 19:30

I love it, I want it, why is it so cheap?

Lessonsinbiology · 03/08/2023 19:31

Calling the bathrooms Art deco is a bit if a stretch.

StartSWagaintomorrow · 03/08/2023 19:33

The planets being ruined by over consumption if is not broke no need to replace it.

CharliesAngles · 03/08/2023 19:35

£550k!
Crikey - what a steal! That plot is amazing, as is the house itself but it gives me ‘The Shining’ vibes…

MavisChunch29 · 03/08/2023 19:38

It's all very 1980s.

otherwayup · 03/08/2023 19:41

It's very 'sex education' I quite like it!

FloopyZebra · 03/08/2023 19:42

MavisChunch29 · 03/08/2023 19:38

It's all very 1980s.

No 1970s

It’s not unusual it’s just stuck in a time warp.

bet it’s a probate, downsizer or care home entry sale.

don’t mock unless you know your parents house won’t generate posts like this. Mine would have if anyone had spotted it replete with turquoise bathroom.

catandcoffee · 03/08/2023 19:42

That burgundy bath looks a great size for a relaxing bathtime.

ReginaPerrin · 03/08/2023 19:44

I think I’d keep the bathrooms as they are, although the wall tiles in picture 13 would have to go - the pattern makes them look mouldy.

Maireas · 03/08/2023 19:44

I wouldn't change those bathrooms. Maybe only change curtains and a few minor things. It's fab!
It's been a loved and well cared for home.
I would just love that view 🤩

WhatADrabCarpet · 03/08/2023 19:44

There's nothing wrong with the bathroom.

Reality check needed here.

Anxioys · 03/08/2023 19:44

I love the bathrooms!

The bedrooms on the other hand... yuk

AlwaysGinPlease · 03/08/2023 19:45

Love it all!

mrsm43s · 03/08/2023 19:46

I absolutely bloody love it.

I mean, I shouldn't, because it's terribly dated, and really not my style today, but looking at that just transports me straight back to my childhood, and gives me a really warm and fuzzy glow.

I'd just have to keep it as is, and live happily in a bubble of believing I was still a child with no worries or responsibilities. Everything about that house just reminds me of my happy childhood :)

backoffbuster · 03/08/2023 19:47

It’s not cheap! It’s £550k. Yes it’s a lot
of house and garden, but it needs a tonne of work and it’s in Neath.

CircleWithin · 03/08/2023 19:48

Those coloured suites are coming back into fashion. If you didn't want them you could definitely sell them.

Jellykat · 03/08/2023 19:48

So much Brown!! < shudders >
