Personally I'm firmly of the view that "social transition" is a nonsense and people should not be discriminated against on the grounds of physical appearance and how they choose to present. So one set of uniform for boys and girls in schools, they can use whatever name they want.
Changing facilities, certain lessons and sports should be single sex where necessary. (My children have mixed gender toilets and trans students using the changing facilities of their desired sex, and they hate it. Plus there have been numerous entirely predictable issues like children filming over/under doors, couples using the toilets to hook up. My kids won't go to the loo at school which is not healthy).
Medical transition should be when the EA applies, this should be for over 18s and is irrelevant to schools.
