In the voice of Cpl Jones.

"Don't panic Capt Sunak"

"Hold your nerve"

"They don't like it up em".

We have a choice between extremely bad alternative outcomes

I saw the news item on BBC about the national debt when I put the tv in yesterday for the tennis. He very distinctly stated it was all due to the pandemic and the war, before I could turn over. The thing is, people will buy that crock of sh it!

Errolwasahero · 14/07/2023 07:34

I put the tv on, not in! 😬

Have we had Boris can’t hand over his phone because he’s forgotten his passcode yet?

It's ok, one of his mates says the govt have the password after all!

Are we expected to believe Boris only thought to try the passcode 2 minutes before the time he was due to hand over the messages, and so had to miss the deadline?

Notonthestairs · 14/07/2023 08:00

Hes moved house and became a father again. Far too busy to comply with a court order.

Notonthestairs · 14/07/2023 08:37

Looks like a Kangaroo court to me 😁

Kiwano · 14/07/2023 09:46

Poor Boris can't remember if his PIN is 1234 or 4321.

RafaistheKingofClay · 14/07/2023 09:48

Perhaps it’s the number of children he has. Or one of their birthdays.

Come on, the man has a busy schedule of fraternisation with KGB assets and adultery.

I see that Gillian Keegan wants headteachers to pick up absent pupils, will she send Sunak to pick up absent MP's?

Perhaps he's been using the phone, regardless of instructions. Hope he's not an Only Fans fan. You'd think he'd be more technologically astute given the State paid Jennifer Arcuri for all those private sessions.

That sounds like someone's sitcom pitch.

Can you imagine the safeguarding issues if heads started turning up at random houses to collect their children?

I like the idea that schools will be given enough funding that they will be able to spare the headteacher's time and also be able to pay for a vehicle for them to do this in. Bravo to the Education Secretary for raising funding so much that this becomes a viable option.

mibbelucieachwell · 14/07/2023 14:15

Yes indeed and I expect the headteachers' cars to be electric.

Just like the green example set by so many mps using the least environmental damaging forms of transport. Oh no hang on that's not the case is it? In fact they set a bad example, taking needless flights regularly and predominantly not running electric cars. Still they consistently set a bad example, so at least they're consistent.

RafaistheKingofClay · 14/07/2023 14:57

There should be enough funding for a helicopter for each HT. that should cut the time it takes down.

mibbelucieachwell · 14/07/2023 15:02

Good point. And could be very efficient if combined with a lesson in geography and physics.

I obviously move in the wrong circles but I’m honestly gobsmacked there’s such a market for letting people witter on. I’m utterly baffled at why anyone on earth is interested in anything Liz Truss has to say. Is she actually a comedian? She’s not really charismatic.

She’s an absolutely dreadful public speaker. But then so is May and she’s raking it in too.

Notonthestairs · 14/07/2023 17:37

It's not about listening to Truss. They are buying the chance to network with other right wingers.

But, I mean it’s still Truss.

Notonthestairs · 14/07/2023 19:07

Well I imagine there is a lot of booze to smooth the way.
