Worst thing I've stood in barefoot

I'll start I've just stood on a slug whilst barefoot!

That'll teach me for no wearing shoes outside in the dark

Ran up the garden in flip flops and trod in the biggest pigeon poop ever...squished all through the flip flop and my toes. Lesson learned.

User17753 · 17/06/2023 17:32

I stood on someone else's heavily used sanitary towel in a university house share. It's been 20 years and I can still feel the horror!

Sudename · 17/06/2023 17:36

Cat vomit 🤢

BearSoFair · 17/06/2023 17:38

Still warm cat shit...she really wasn't well, neither was I after that!

baklavagoddess · 17/06/2023 17:39

Cow shit

Rainraingoaway123 · 17/06/2023 17:39

Me- a slug. Husband - dog poo, and it got between his toes 😫

murasaki · 17/06/2023 17:44

@JenniferBarkley Oh yes the sea urchin. Spines in my foot for months. The school.refused to believe I wasn't a verucca ridden child.

Otherwise a pile of cat sick so large i skidded down the corridor in my house and nearly fell over. At 3 am.

murasaki · 17/06/2023 17:45

@InTodaysNews , how did you stand on his penis????

wildflowerlove · 17/06/2023 17:47

Hmm as a child in an old murky outdoor, public swimming pool, there was good layer of god know what, probably mud and slimy plants.

As an adult I stepped on a slug with my barefoot it was absolutely disgusting, but probably more uncomfortable for the poor slug.;)

CurlewKate · 17/06/2023 17:48

I put my bare foot inside a half eaten rabbit on my living room floor in the dark.....

misspollycat · 17/06/2023 17:49

Completely accidentally - a goldfish when I was about eight.
It had (unknown to me) jumped out of the tank.

I had bare feet and was about to feed the fish.
Lifted my foot and the fish was staring up at me.

My dad put it back in the tank, but sadly it didn't survive.
It's always stuck on my mind as I was so upset and guilt ridden.

A large bumblebee. Was a fairly fearsome sting, but the beauty of it was that it sent my left leg completely numb up to about the knee. When the numbness wore off, the pain was completely gone. Wasn't like a wasp sting that throbs intermittently for about the next day.

I'm happy to report though that the bee was fine, and when I went back to check on it it had flown away.

The sea urchin must have been hideously painful. Ouch!

cptartapp · 16/06/2023 05:49

Sharp pointy Christmas star decoration that had fallen off the tree.

Oh like the burglars in the Home Alone!😸

Scrunchymum · 17/06/2023 17:50

Dog poo. It squelched in between my toes and everything.
Mum & dads dog- right outside my bedroom door.

I’ve never gagged as much.

Bumblebees don't sting, they bite.

You what? No, they don't! They sting.

You what? No, they don't! They sting.

Apparently they do both. (I've just googled!).

IncompleteSenten · 17/06/2023 17:53

Worst as in most painful - those fucking Gogo bastards

Worst as in most revolting - took my shoes off to enjoy a barefoot walk in the park. Stepped straight into dogshit.

SerafinasGoose · 17/06/2023 17:55

misspollycat · 17/06/2023 17:52

But that's pure pedantry. If you receive a painful injury at from the end of a bee, it's a sting.

They don't bite humans as a rule. A human is too large to be subdued with a harmless bite, and you'd be unlikely to feel much if it did.

Fekinell. Of all the things to pick a quarrel on a reasonably harmless, innocuous thread about ...

Sorry. Wasn't meaning to be "off" with you.
I didn't think they bit either, so was struggling to believe it myself.

I'm so sorry. It was just misinterpreted. I meant it light hearted.

DIsForDelightful · 17/06/2023 17:59

Half a mouse! Thanks cat 😨

FawnFrenchieMum · 17/06/2023 18:02

My husband stood on a sea urchin in Greece a couple of years ago! He’s still got half the spines (about 12 left, 12 ish were removed) in his foot as the hospital couldn’t get them out with surgery. He gets a bit of nerve pain in the area every now and again.

Harebrain · 17/06/2023 18:03

Something warm and wet in the ball pool at a soft play centre.

FawnFrenchieMum · 17/06/2023 18:04

JenniferBarkley · 16/06/2023 07:43

Sea urchin. Do not recommend.

Just posted the same about my DH! He still has spines in his foot!
