Worst thing I've stood in barefoot

I'll start I've just stood on a slug whilst barefoot!

That'll teach me for no wearing shoes outside in the dark

A cold roast potato brought in by the cat (the lady next door put them out for the hedgehogs???).

A wasp after my DM decided it would be lovely to take our shoes off to feel the grass under our feet

I once sat on a slug. It was squished all over the bum area of my dress. It was horrible

Saw the title and was about to say..SLUG! And slug snot in-between my toes 😫

Cold dog shit outside a neighbour's window. Was revolting all squished between my toes. I knew I had to get into my first floor flat without putting my foot down too to wash it!

An upturned plug!!! Pain worse than childbirth.

• jumped onto a low thorn bush as a child when abroad
• jumped into a massive dog poo as a child
• crunched a massive cockroach through my toes at night when abroad

I stood in my DS's poo when I was trying to potty train him!

And I've stood on a drawing pin, weird thing was it didn't hurt that much and only realised when the blood started dripping out everywhere.

I too say slug. A wasp and two weever fish (some years apart) were immensely painful, but I find it easier to excuse creatures just trying to protect themselves than ones which just squidgily slime underfoot.

Also a live snake in Botswana didn't do much for my calmness. Fortunately, I think it was not long for this world anyway. At least, it didn't try and bite me.

A human poo
Camping at a festival and took a few steps barefoot outside my tent to grab my wellies. We were not far from the toilets, so figured someone couldn't wait in the line. It was so rank.

I did the same. When in labour with my first child.

I stood on a stingy sea plant thing. It seemed soft and fine until about 10 mins later.

LARGE cockroach (not in the UK) disgusting crunching, squishing sensation followed by the awful smell.

I thought I had stood on a small bundle of wool ... on closer inspection it was one of the biggest spiders I have ever seen in my home :(

My gran and her elderly friend that I'd never met before stayed with me the night before holiday as I lived near the airport.

My dog, if he desperately needed to go during the night would deposit outside the bathroom door, as he got older it happened more often.

Grans friend went for a barefoot walk to the bathroom in the dark and you can guess the rest. The following year they stayed at a hotel :((

The bit of mouse that cats don't eat (the liver?). I felt it pop between my toes. It was green and slimey 🤢

Yes it was a slug for me as well. Absolutely bloody rank. And so cold 🤢
