Even though it's definitely not at gross as some of these replies. Nothing makes me feel worse than standing on the floor in sucks and you stand in something wet. Absolutely infuriates me. It's always when I've just popped some nice fluffy ones on after a bath or shower too so it feels even more grim

An upturned electric plug & I didn't feel a thing at first as it the sensation was like when you first cut into a tomato & it kind of pops & I wondered why there was blood on the carpet.

Then about 10-15 seconds later it bloody hurt!

I've stepped on some terrible things but a slug was the worst.

To add to the cat related woes, I skidded a few feet after stepping in a stomach the cat had left in the floor. Don't know what it had belonged to but it had been eating blackberries.

Another frog here. We had a falling down old conservatory at the back of the house, I kept my wellies there, popped them on one morning to take the bin out and found the frog had settled down in one of the wellies for the night. RIP Mr Frog . . .
