What's for dinner?

For us I found white asparagus in Tesco so we are having white asparagus, nice ham, boiled eggs, hollandaise. DCs are also having chicken drumsticks and veg sticks.

Sounds delicious! Nothing as exciting here. Just tuna pasta with broccoli and sweetcorn. Easy quick and filling for a Monday!

We are having chicken tacos. Need some inspiration as bored of us having same old meals

Me too, same old. Tonight we're having chicken burgers/beef burgers/ salad and wedges.

Spicy bean burgers, sweet potato fries, green salad, tomato salad and M&S super nutty wholefood salad.

Cornish Pasty and homemade chips.Couldn’t be bothered tonight.

A bit dull but yellow sticker Waitrose meatballs with a homemade garlicky herby tomato sauce (with spaghetti). Bit of a batch cook so a couple of days worth.

Never heard of white asparagus! DP made thai red curry with prawns

We had roast chicken on crusty bake at home baguettes, salad and I chucked some leftover home made Nando’s style rice on the plate too.

A sort of mince beef chilli like dish but instead of chilli and kidney beans it's flavoured with garlic mixed herbs Worcester sauce and baked beans with a tin of condensed Tom soup. Doesn't sound amazing but I love it over a jacket spud or buttered toast fingers and putting a small heap on the end of the toast as I eat it

Meatballs

We had burgers in brioche buns with lettuce, tomato, leon burger sauce, cheese and pickles. Served with sweet potato fries and salad. Was very tasty.

Chicken and chorizo traybake with courgettes, onions, peppers and new potatoes. Served with sliced buttered baguette

I made fajitas! I put chicken thighs in the slow cooker at lunchtime so it all properly fell apart. And there is loads left to make some kind of chilli tomorrow!

Leftover chickpea and pasta salad with another salad on the side- kind of Waldorf but with orange and pecan nuts.

Took Dd out for dinner and we had gnocchi with sage butter (so simple but utterly delicious, I’ll be added this to our weekly menu) and rigatoni with sausage, creme fraiche and fennel. And some nice ciabatta with whipped garlic butter. Very yum.

Melt in the middle Cod fish cakes and an Orzo pasta salad. Plus some guacamole and tortilla chips. Bit random but I have an Avocado on the turn and who doesn't like chips & dip!

Chicken teriyaki, rice and asparagus

Gammon, cauliflower cheese and hash browns.

We're having roast salmon, crispy cumin and butter chickpeas and wilted spinich.

My birthday here so I’ve gone for lamb steaks with chippy shop chips and peas… lazy but yummy

I made (standard) asparagus for the first time yesterday - this method minus the lemon/parmesan as didn’t have any - and I’m totally hooked, having that again very soon!

Having a roast chicken tonight, it’s in the oven. We eat about 8.30om which seems late from the replies on here!

Made a chicken/peppers/courgette in slow cooker with spices and tomato sauce. Having it with pitta bread and salad. Easy dinner
