What's for dinner?

For us I found white asparagus in Tesco so we are having white asparagus, nice ham, boiled eggs, hollandaise. DCs are also having chicken drumsticks and veg sticks.

Slow cooker lentil veg curry tonight. I was trying to make soup, but the resulting curry was very tasty all the same.

Shakshuka, I made the sauce yesterday, so super simple today, just heated it up, cracked the eggs in and served with fresh (shop bought) bread. (Good job too because I'm done with this week!)

Stuffed mushrooms, grilled tomatoes and frites. And red wine.

Tonight the Dcs are having chicken nuggets and vegetables (Aldi nuggets). i am having a chicken and ginger stir fry (Aldi).

DH is vegetarian and almost a raw foodist so he sorts himself out.

We are having roast chicken, roast potatoes, Yorkshire puddings (yes they do go with every roast), pigs in blankets, broccoli, sweet corn, asparagus and a fougasse bread which I’m watching currently being kneaded. For pudding we have profiteroles and tiramisu.

DH has put asparagus, red pepper, spring onions, turkey steaks & noodles on the worktop and has started chopping- so possibly a v bland stir fry? 😂

Leftover lentil curry with carrots, swedes and a little bit of smoked haddock.

BBQ today so burgers, sausages, sweet and spicy pork skewers, salad, cheese board and bread.

Was considering a bbq but realised that first bbq of the season is extra faffy, getting everything out, cleaned up etc and that put me off! So instead I have made Thai fishcakes with a rice noodle salad and Asian slaw.

Yesterday we had Satay chicken with nasi goreng rice.
Today was Macaroni cheese, garlic bread and green beans.

Paella, done on the barbie.

Today we have tarkha dhal and sag aloo and pappadums. Leftover Indian from the other week which I froze.

Steak and homemade caeser salad tonight. Hopefully in the garden if it stays warm enough!

Cauliflower and broccoli cheese bake tonight. Simple and easy x

Spinach, Panner and dill curry. I used a Madhur Jaffrey recipe for spinach, black bean and dill curry and swopped beans for much tastier paneer! Very easy and quick, would recommend!

Tonight is cheese and garlic stuffed mushrooms with some toast.

Sausages jersey royals and salad

I'm home alone (hooray) and have treated myself to a Charlie Bingham's chicken tikka masala. Might eat it all as all I've eaten today is a peanut butter and marmite sandwich, an apple, one tea and two coffees. Plus I cleaned out the cupboard under the sink and been to work and deserve a reward.
