The lovely bit of your house

So, in my head I have a house straight out of a swanky interiors magazine, but in reality with 2 teenage boys, a full time job and a life, it's a very long way from that.
However, one little corner of the bathroom always gives me joy.
I thought it would be nice to post a picture of the tiny little bit of your house that gives you hope, even if like mine the rest of it is full of discarded trainers, laundry waiting to be put away and last night's left over pizza.

I bought the house i grew up in (sentimental old fool that I am) and here in an alcove in the kitchen my mother always had a cute little Welsh dresser. Unfortunately I couldn't find one to fit so I had a kitchen fitter to put this in and I just love it! With all my cooking bits & pieces.

My other favorite place is the arbour,, it's bliss to sit with a coffee or a beer watching the fish and newts 🩷

It is lovely what you all have done. Nice to have one lovely spot at least.

I am in a housing association flat, just one room to myself, the rest shared. I am limited in what I can do because the room is so small and I need to finish tidying up! Still I am grateful I have somewhere to live in London that I would otherwise not be able to afford!!

I at least found some lovely duvet covers which look very nice!!

I have lots of favourite places in my home, it is my sanctuary and the place i bought after my divorce several years ago, this spot shows off my love of colour.

This is where I have a cup of tea and do my morning devotions, a coffee and a good book, a glass of wine and call my sister

Love it when the rain is pattering on the skylights or when the doors are wide open and sun pouring through

Gorgeous - such a good use of space. Inspiration for a weirdly shaped area under the stairs, where I need to add some storage that looks nice. The pond looks lovely too.

The previous owners ripped out the original fireplace of my house. Thankfully, I found one on FB marketplace for £50. ❤

This corner of my "project house". Lounge is the only room done and this is my view from the sofa of an evening...chills me out!
