Where did you go on your honeymoon?

Looking for inspiration. Where did you go, how long for? Was it somewhere you had been many times or somewhere you’d always wanted to go?

We did a two week tour of Japan using the Japan Rail Pass :) I'd been to Japan before (but only Tokyo) and my husband had never been. We want to go again to do a loop of Kyushu :)

Malta - got married there and stayed for 3 weeks. Never been before and liked all the culture stuff.

Great place.

Madeira, 7 nights. We chose it because we got married in November and wanted somewhere warm but didn’t have the budget for long haul.

We also did 2 weeks in Japan, travelling around by train. I'd never been before, would love to go back - just waiting for the kids to be a bit older.

The wine regions of France for a week (we got married in France). Then later that year we did a big trip to Tanzania and Zanzibar.

That seems weird, there’s masses to do in Thailand. Had you booked without researching? Or is your husband a dud?

It was 32 years ago but we had 4 nights in Hong Kong, 14 nights in Phuket,Thailand and 4 nights in Bangkok. We ended up having an extra night in Bangkok as the first Gulf War began so flight home was delayed and re-routed north so we ended up with a refuelling stop in Norway.

Jersey. Loved it. We spent two weeks biking round the island.
