After the death of Paul o Grady it occurred to me I've never heard anyone say a bad word about him before or after death- ditto George Michael
Other celebs I can think of are David Attenborough and Peter Kay
Are there any others?

I’ve definitely heard people say bad things about Peter Kay, including on here!

Dolly Parton?

lifeissweet · 21/04/2023 22:29

These threads always go South because whoever you mention, someone will have a bad story.

You are right, though. Paul O'Grady does seem to have had not a bad word said about him. In fact, you can usually tell when someone is well loved because all sorts of people tell very specific heart-warming stories about them rather than the generic 'They will be missed. RIP type' stuff.

Richard Osman?

2023usernameNew · 21/04/2023 22:30

Tom Hanks immediately comes to mind

Everyone's got someone who hates them!

I think George Michael got himself into some bother at various points in his life...

Nimbostratus100 · 21/04/2023 22:31

I came here to say David Attenborough, but you beat me to it

Really? Definitely not universally liked and lots of people said how unpleasant they found him on I'm a celebrity.

Plus there's this.

I can't stand Peter Kay, he is not funny in the slightest so I disagree with that one!
