He took a dump...

StinkerBoyfriend · 26/02/2023 17:58

Just met sister's new boyfriend (both in 50s so not kids) for the first time. She brought him to my house and within 20 mins he's upstairs having a dump in our only bathroom. Left soon after, leaving me to clean the skid marks and open the window.

I don't know why but I'm mad as hell. I know sometimes you have to go, so im probably being unfair but I feel really cheesed off. Like he's "marked his territory" my home somehow.

I'm being daft aren't I.

OP posts:

"Jeff seemed nice, why didn't that work out?"

"Oh sometimes he had to poo"

LMAO. That's more than enough reason to LTB on MN.

JamPearl · 26/02/2023 19:02

It's that what toilets are for? There is no way I would expect to poo in someone else's house if I can avoid it but maybe he couldn't help it. Some people have bowel issues unfortunately.

Did you have the necessary brush/bleach available?

defi · 26/02/2023 18:00

Bowel movements are perfectly normal. Not cleaning up after yourself at adult age is gross

This ^^

"OMG, you mean he had....normal human functions? and he did them in your house? in a place designed for them? the dirty sod."

GCAcademic · 26/02/2023 19:05

It’s always men that do this, isn’t it? You don’t hear of women leaving putrid stenches and skid marks in other people’s houses.

YANBU, OP. Yes, toilets are for shitting in, but there’s no excuse to leave it in a state luck a fucking farmyard animal.

BrutusMcDogface · 26/02/2023 19:07

“Farting on her soft furnishings”! 😂😂😂

MrsJessePinkmann · 26/02/2023 19:09

Talk about leaving shit first impressions! 😂

Mothership4two · 26/02/2023 19:09

Totally unfair but it would put me off too!

The skid marks are gross though

mathanxiety · 26/02/2023 19:10

You're not wrong. Leaving a mess amd foul air behind is really rude.

freezingpompoms · 26/02/2023 19:11

What was he like other than this (just out of interest).

iwantmyownicecreamvan · 26/02/2023 19:11

Yeah he should have cleaned up after himself the dirty bugger. It will be interesting to see what he does in future. If he takes a dump every time he visits, then yes - he is one of those men. (Wasn't there a thread a couple of years ago about a guy who took a shit in the toilet of an office where he was waiting for his daughter to have some counselling - even though there were public toilets in the same building?)

I think it’s weird… it’s quite common to need to feel comfortable to go. Therefore, he’s walked into your house and immediately felt at ease… whereas I would want a new potential BIL to be wanting to impress! I know I’m making no sense but that would be my train of thought Grin

Hahahahah

Is that post a joke?

Do you people never poo anywhere but at home? I find that more weird than using a toilet that was specifically designed for that purpose and is even in its own room, specifically designed to house it to be honest.

philautia · 26/02/2023 19:12

Having a poo is totally normal!

Not cleaning the toilet afterwards and sealing the poo stench in the bathroom by not opening a window - totally disrespectful.

Why is going to the loo gross and disgusting? Don't you ever have a shit?

Going the the loo isn’t gross and disgusting. Taking a shit in someone’s house you’ve just met is gross.

I don’t care what peope do. Have sex, dress in drag, have a wank, suck your partners toes, get spanked with a fresh kipper. Do whatever the fuck you like. But don’t do it in my house.

Riapia · 26/02/2023 19:12

He took a dump..
Oh I say.
You surely don’t use that expression in everyday conversation.
😁😁

Women don’t do smelly shits? Hahahahaha

What planet do some of you live on? The women’s toilets at our work regularly stink, just like the men’s do, because poo smells.

WTF is a fresh kipper?

ibunofit · 26/02/2023 19:15

If I ever date again, I will never date a man who has not yet learnt to clean his own shit off the toilet bowl.

Either that or meeting the OP was too much for his system and she scared more than the bejesus out of him.

Doesn't anyone ever have sex in your house, then?

Boxofsockss · 26/02/2023 19:16

I don’t care that’s it’s a normal bodily function. That would piss me off. You’d just met the man. Some people have no shame. I wouldn’t be inviting him around again.

gamerchick · 26/02/2023 19:16

Toilet brushes aren't for cleaning off fresh skids. It's fucking weird how many people think they are.

It is a sort of marking thing some men do. Usually it's just pissing all over the toilet seat. Scruffy fuckers.

A herring before the smoking process.
