Has come out to say her long term relationship is over and it very much looks like he had a wandering eye and she found out.

She posted a video on Instagram and has done an interview to say once the trust is gone it has to be over.

I really like her, I think she's smart and funny and do feel sorry for her. She has dealt with it really well though. It's easy to say LTB but when it comes down to it that can be hard to do, especially when you've been together a long time.

Really hoping she finds happiness in the future!

I love her, what a shame. I saw an article about them in the times and he was quite a bit younger than her. But they’d been together many years and seemed solid! She’s fabulous and will find someone amazing I’m sure.

DP worked with her and really liked her. That's a shame. She has been treated badly by the men in her life

She's putting a brave face on it, and said she's grateful to be alive as she's older now than her mum was when she died.

She must be crushed behind the scenes though...

I don’t much care for celebs/TV presenters as a rule but weirdly do have a big soft spot for Vanessa, she seems pretty fun and great (I’m sure she can be a pain in the backside but everyone can sometimes!), wears her heart on her sleeve but not in an annoying way, and is actually quite interesting and engaging compared to lots of her telly peers. I hope she gets lots of support and positive vibes to get her through the break-up; happily there seems to be a sizeable amount of public affection and goodwill for her. Bless her.

Always thought they were an odd pairing and he seemed to be with her for the lifestyle. Her constant bragging about their sex life was cringe.

Another thread with just a sleb name as a title, what's that all about? Give us some detail so we know they aren't dead.

It's really sad, they seemed really happy together and I like her. Hopefully future happiness awaits.

Thought they made a lovely couple. She comes across as very intelligent and down to earth. Hope she finds happiness in the future. She deserves it. Quite miss her early breakfast show on Radio 2.

Agree with everyone , she seems like a really great lady and is an excellent broadcaster. His loss, doing gigs at Butlins isn’t going to pay for the lifestyle he’s accustomed to.

I love Vanessa and was very sorry to hear about this.
She read an email of mine out on her radio show once and was very sincere and supportive and eloquent (as always) in her response.

Love her.. agree she wears her heart on her sleeve. She did an interview years back and asked if she had any regrets... thinking it would have been something she had said:done in her professional life, VF said she regretted only having two children because she had a son and daughter it was just considered by everyone she was done. It stayed with me and I went on to have a third and I often wonder if I would have done if it wasn't for that comment! Our littlest DD is an absolute joy and I did think of middle naming her Vanessa! ( I do think she is on mumsnet so I hope she reads these comments) x

Really like her - prefer the Jeremy vine show with her doing it to him. She comes across as warm and intelligent
