Has come out to say her long term relationship is over and it very much looks like he had a wandering eye and she found out.

She posted a video on Instagram and has done an interview to say once the trust is gone it has to be over.

I really like her, I think she's smart and funny and do feel sorry for her. She has dealt with it really well though. It's easy to say LTB but when it comes down to it that can be hard to do, especially when you've been together a long time.

Really hoping she finds happiness in the future!

I agree. I hope she's able to make space for the sadness and anger and disappointment and all the other tough stuff. Positivity is great but it only gets you so far. I'm sure she takes a lot of strength fron being so immensely popular and maybe that's just what she needs right now

WTF? Having those things don't stop people having feelings, being heartbroken or feeling devastated by life events.

Isn't it all getting a bit over the top now! She's had a break up. All this darling this and that urgh.

Elizabeth Day is really bright and lovely and I do like her podcast but her behaviour is sometimes far too saccharine for my tastes. If that's her jam and it works for her then I'm all for it, maybe it's just me being a blunt, mardy northerner but sometimes I have to turn the podcast off when she's gushing about how amazing, inspiring and loved everyone is.

Well then I'm a blunt mardy northerner too! I used to really love her podcast but I find her pretty unbearable these days. The gushing and the fawning are just too much. I get that she's asking people to open up about difficult stuff, so it needs to be a safe and warm environment but come on!

As for Vanessa, well my gosh she has been through the shit recently, and I don't begrudge her any of the support she has had, and her little message this morning perked me up when I was in a bit of a funk

I find Elizabeth Day too much. A complete sycophant.
