Has come out to say her long term relationship is over and it very much looks like he had a wandering eye and she found out.

She posted a video on Instagram and has done an interview to say once the trust is gone it has to be over.

I really like her, I think she's smart and funny and do feel sorry for her. She has dealt with it really well though. It's easy to say LTB but when it comes down to it that can be hard to do, especially when you've been together a long time.

Really hoping she finds happiness in the future!

Ever heard of self esteem, self confidence and dignity? Perhaps Vanessa has those even if you don’t.
Are you one of those sad people that would desperately hang on to any partner (no matter how shitty they are) because you would be terrified of being single?

Sat next to her (and her daughter I think) on the tube two months ago. Absolutely lovely lady. So glad she gave him the boot - she deserves better.

I was sorry to hear about this. Poor Vanessa, she’s such an intelligent, kind, warm person, I thought they seemed a great couple.

What a shame. I was neither here nor there with Vanessa but I listened to her on Elizabeth Day's How To Fail podcast (where guests talk about their three biggest failures and how it's shaped them) and one of Vanessa's was her marriage. Oh my god, she was so honest and open. One of the best episodes I've listened to. She explained how she literally begged her husband to stay. Literally got on the floor and begged him. She said she was so desperate and upset. It was also during the phone hacking era so there is stuff on that too. You have to listen to it. Really interesting. She also talks about her Vanessa show and the 'fake' guests.

It's also sad because at the end she spoke about her 'new' partner (Ben, I think his name is. The Phats and Smalls guy) and how happy she was with him. Hope she is ok x

I met her through work years ago and we went out a few times. She was hilarious. Quite insecure and vulnerable under that vibrant personality. And a fabulous witty over sharer. That was when she was dating Dennis. Who also let her down badly.

Do give it a listen, she's a great guest. There are some funny bits too, like when she does an impression of her (ex) husband. She also talks about her Big Brother appearance.

I saw a picture of the two of them posted on a blog page and I genuinely thought he was in his 30s. Can’t believe he’s 50.
Black really doesn’t crack! Looks as if they have a 30 year age gap, not just 10

What a mean response !
I have no interest in celebrity but have always had time for Vanessa, she is warm and friendly and clearly very intelligent.
I feel disappointed for her that he has let her down this way .
I hope she heals quickly and moves on.

She sounds obviously upset, but also very determined to pick herself up and get on with life. Good for her. I hope she has lots of real Life support around her and that she looks after herself.

Poor Vanessa, she deserves better than this. It's his loss!
I recommend she listens to Miley Cyrus' song 'Flowers' on repeat. It's such an inspirational break up song.
