What's your favourite dessert?

Or whatever you call the sweet thing you have after your evening meal.

I've just decided that mine is creme brulee. I absolutely love it more than anything else.
Close second would be homemade trifle (pref. no jelly), or a really good tiramisu. I am also partial to Eton mess and chocolate mousse. But creme brulee wins every time.

What's yours?

Apple crumble, with more crumble than apple ! , and custard

Christmaspyjamas · 28/01/2023 18:21

Rum baba

midsomermurderess · 28/01/2023 18:22

Panne cotta. But a crème brûlée is a more than acceptable alternative.

Warm chocolate fudge cake with cream instead of custard.

ichundich · 28/01/2023 18:25

Mousse au chocolat, tiramisu, trifle.

IntentionalError · 28/01/2023 18:26

Tarte tatin with top quality vanilla ice cream.

CalistoNoSolo · 28/01/2023 18:26

Anything involving lots of chocolate and lots of cream. So black forest gateau, profiteroles, chocolate ganache....

Poke · 28/01/2023 18:27

sticky toffee pudding 😍

junebirthdaygirl · 28/01/2023 18:27

Rhubarb crumble or Apple and Berry crumble. Don't like Creme Brulee or Eton Mess.

NewNameFor2023 · 28/01/2023 18:27

Rarely have pudding, but when I fancy it, it’s the old British classics with loads of thick custard: jam roly poly, apple pie, pineapple upside down cake and rhubarb crumble (thick crumble), are the first things that spring to mind.

N00bz · 28/01/2023 18:27

All of them.

getreadyy · 28/01/2023 18:27

Christmas cake and cheese

TroysMammy · 28/01/2023 18:28

Nothing too chocolatey, no thick sweet pastry or thick biscuit base and no crumble. Everything else is fair game including jelly in trifle.

KingValkyrie · 28/01/2023 18:28

Hot chocolate pudding with cream, or sticky toffee pudding with ice cream

MrsMariaReynolds · 28/01/2023 18:29

For me it's a tie between pecan pie (hot) with vanilla ice cream and apple crumble with (equally hot) custard

GiltEdges · 28/01/2023 18:30

Chocolate fondant.

SouperNoodle · 28/01/2023 18:31

Chocolate mousse, warm chocolate fudge cake, treacle sponge pudding...
Anything decadent

IMustDoMoreExercise · 28/01/2023 18:32

Vanilla cheesecake with cream

Epicstorm · 28/01/2023 18:32

I love a fancy ice cream/sundae.

Getthefiregoing · 28/01/2023 18:33

What a despicable question. It's like asking to pick a favourite child.

I love them all.

Oldraver · 28/01/2023 18:33

Tiramisu or a good Panna Cotta

motleymop · 28/01/2023 18:33

Impossible question!!!

Getthefiregoing · 28/01/2023 18:34

If I have to choose, then tonight I'd quite like hot apple pie with whipped double cream.

Mañanarama · 28/01/2023 18:35

Profiteroles
Key lime pie
Cheesecake
Rhubarb crumble

Mmmm… hungry

GlamGiraffe · 28/01/2023 18:36

Wow, this is an impossible ask!
A single favourite, i can't choose.
Love creme brulee or creme catalana, a goof tiramisu is fab. Love jelly free home made trifle. Black forest gateau can be gorgeous.
Amazing quality ice cream...I'll just make sureI have space for secos, thirds,fourths...
