I've just decided that mine is creme brulee. I absolutely love it more than anything else.
Close second would be homemade trifle (pref. no jelly), or a really good tiramisu. I am also partial to Eton mess and chocolate mousse. But creme brulee wins every time.

Home made white chocolate cheesecake with strawberries or raspberries.

Basque burnt cheesecake with poached rhubarb on the side
Ultra decadent Crême Brulée
also very best home made crême caramel, made with Cornish full cream milk, vanilla sugar and extra egg yolk
Brioche bread and butter pudding (made the same way as crême caramel above and served with creamy toffee and orange sauce)
STP, of course, made to the original Cartmel recipe, rich and fudgy and not just a brownish sponge pudding. With cream, ice cream or custard, as long as there's plenty of it.
in the summer -- Pavlova with passion fruit topping or chocolate and raspberry Pavlova (Nigella recipes and truly divine.)
Caffé affogato.

and you know what.. good old iced sponge cake with sprinkles with custard… Just like you’d get at school!

So hard, but blackberry and apple crumble or lemon meringue pie or Eton mess

There's a local cake shop near me that does all the old school stuff
School cake, cornflake tart, and you can get pink custard with them too!

Anything lemon - tart, sorbet, mousse, cheesecake 😋

Vanilla cake with chocolate icing

Pumpkin pie
Key lime pie
Peach cobbler
Banana pudding (a southern US trifle like dessert of layers of bananas, vanilla custard, and vanilla wafers, topped with either a meringue or whipped cream

Pretty much anything so long as it doesn’t contain bananas.
Queen of puddings especially.

Rice pudding I think. I have a nice coconut rice pudding recipe, it's very creamy.

I want to try making a Black Forest cheesecake soon though.

I've been flicking through an old (as in vintage 1980s) cookbook this weekend, and there's been quite a few of the puddings and tarts mentioned on this thread in there. I think I need to start a retro dessert night!

Lemon posset or tiramisu. My absolute favourites. I’m not so into hot puddings although do have them sometimes.

I need to look up a recipe for lemon posset. Never had it but suspect I might like it.
