her parents are searching for her, arent they? they are members of the aristocracy, quite unusually

Southwestten · 10/02/2023 21:05

This is a strange case though, surprised none of their friends or contacts would not hide them.

Maybe someone is hiding them.

I thought they had fallen out with family and friends. Or she had, at least.

It's not clear he has any real family in the UK; his immediate family all emigrated to the US in the late 80s and appear to have stayed there. He was deported back to the UK alone when he was released.

She has become estranged from her family and friends from around 2016. It seems to be related to MG; it could be that she disliked the judgement related to his conviction, or it could be a DV issue and he has isolated her from family and friends (more likely the latter IMHO).

We don't know if they've made any new friends since 2016 though. There are always those willing to help those trying to escape SS; the likes of Ian Josephs for instance. www.mirror.co.uk/news/real-life-stories/millionaire-helping-pregnant-women-flee-3850505

No new news but found this story about the cult she was connected to:

70sShmeventies · 15/02/2023 21:24

Still missing! I’m so worried for that baby.

CupidCantAimStraight · 15/02/2023 21:26

I can't believe they've managed to keep it up this long tbh

SpinningFloppa · 15/02/2023 21:33

Doubt they are in the country anymore tbh

Andypandy799 · 16/02/2023 05:32

Yeah I don’t think they are in the uk anymore, surely people can’t be this hard to find

CupidCantAimStraight · 16/02/2023 07:48

If the police really haven't had any confirmed sightings in over a month then I too think they're either abroad or, sadly, dead.

Or possibly being harboured by someone in a house somewhere. I do wonder why the police offered a 10k reward, maybe for that eventuality.
Maybe constance is paying them more.

CupidCantAimStraight · 16/02/2023 08:33

That is another possibility.

There are enough people out there that think SS are baby stealing monsters; they might have been able to find someone like that to either harbour them or sail then over the channel in a pleasure cruiser, and they might not have required £10k to do it

SpinningFloppa · 16/02/2023 09:04

I don’t think they are being harboured, they’ve moved around to too many places doubt they know someone in every place.

I know she has funds but I wonder how she can carry that much in cash and also keep it/any additional cash safe from the person she's paying to harbour them, if any. I assume that person isn't really ethical or good if they're just doing it for cash? And would readily accept both her money (offered upfront, not as a dangling carrot because again how will Constance keep the money safe in that person's property) and the police reward. If she has help I think it is more for ideological reasons.

mixedrecycling · 16/02/2023 14:27

I think they must have been helped to either go to ground in the UK or get to Europe. Otherwise they would have been seen somewhere buying food.

I don’t know. I think if Mark Gordon walked into a shop alone, maybe wearing a face face mask, he’d be pretty anonymous. I think people would recognise her, especially if she had a baby with her but I don’t imagine they’re together all the time.

DanteThunderstone · 21/02/2023 17:44

Still no sign of them. www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-64721075

SpinningFloppa · 21/02/2023 17:50

They are not giving up are they, I really think they are long gone (out of the UK)

I'm not sure. I think they may have help from others in squats or alternative lifestyles. I how they are all safe and well, and considering how to engage with health care if at all possible.

SpinningFloppa · 21/02/2023 23:23

I think they would have been seen by now, they have travelled around to so many places doubt they know someone in each place. Just seen updated cctv

DanteThunderstone · 28/02/2023 05:19

Oh god this is concerning www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-64794712

MichelleScarn · 28/02/2023 05:26

From another thread they are still looking for the baby, I can only hope with little hope of any positive outcome.
Am assuming all the 'she's mum she knows best' 'the police/ss have it in for them' people still believe that?!

LaTangerina · 28/02/2023 06:06

Hope they locate the baby!
Hopefully they've just handed the baby off to someone they trust rather than anything else. Hopefully the baby is safe.

Oh goodness. Not the news we wanted to hear!

Piccalino3 · 28/02/2023 06:33

What concerning news to wake up to. It hasn't crossed my mind that they would be found without the baby. I can only hope that they left the baby safe with someone they trust and the police will find it soon. I'm really shocked at this news
