It’s ridiculous going on strike at the busiest time of year

It’s hit & miss.

I ordered something on 25th November and am still waiting for it; something else ordered lat week arrived the day after it was posted to me. I’ve sent something that the company were guaranteeing would arrive today but only, once they sent the dispatch confirmation, did they say it’s gone by RM so I expect it will arrive sometime around Easter!!

No don’t think it will come. Been waiting for a new bank card for 10 days … 🙄

I would only use Amazon at the moment for last minute deliveries.

I’m still waiting for parcels that were dispatched using Royal Mail nearly 3 weeks ago now.

This is literally why they chose this time of year though, to have the biggest impact

@LostThePot ive searched Amazon for what I need and it’s not on there my own fault for not doing it sooner.

I had something sent 24 hr tracked on 8th Dec, it’s still not here. I don’t think it will show up and I think the supplier agrees, as they’ve sent me a replacement today.

They still have to deliver all the mail just will back up and make it harder for them later. Bloody daft.

I sent parcels guaranteed next day delivery in the first week of December and still waiting on a few of them to be delivered

That said, as stressful as it is i don't blame them for striking. This started in August, they didn't want December to end up like this

A friend sent me something 1st class signed for on 10th December. It arrived today and was left on the doorstep in the pouring rain (preferable to taking it back to delivery office tbh). I sent her something normal 1st class on 10th December and it arrived there on 12th. It seems completely random as to what happens to anything so I’d not use it for anything you REALLY need.

I agree, it does all seem very random right now, RM has always been solid for me and I rely on them for my small business. I feel quite upset took a big hit over the pandemic but just managed to keep going, now with all these delayed and missing packages it feels like the end😥
