Anyone else have a totally irrational dislike of something?

There is a set of traffic lights/junction near me which I absolutely hate. Nothing bad has ever happened to me there, but i have a loathing for it that I cant explain or understand. Its not a difficult junction either.

I actively go out of my way to avoid it.

The reason for this is that if you put your bag there the computer will turn red and you have to wait for staff to come over and verify your bags.

This is so annoying! Our closest Sainsbury’s is ok. You put your bag on. Machine seems happy. You pack your shopping. But Tesco. You put your bag on packing area and the machine has a nervous breakdown. Even though it TOLD you that you could put your bag on. So then you have to wait - and wait - until the poor frazzled assistant, who is manning about 20 of these bastard machines, comes and scans her special card and types in her special code. If I only have a couple of items I chuck them straight onto the packing shelf, then throw them in my bag once I've paid. I'm gone in the blink of an eye! I wouldn't do it with a whole pile of stuff though.

This in spades. And I find the pictures are always a bit blurry so you can't actually see properly

With respect I'm not going to engage with you on this. Pretending you don't know is just a lazy attempt at invoking classism, and I'd rather not go down that road, thank you.

When house have a huge extension across the back of the house and there is a supporting pillar in the middle of the room, I find it really jarring and irrationally annoying, I just want to attack it with a sledgehammer. Strong enough RSJ’s so you don’t have to have the support pillar are expensive I know so not everyone can afford it, but those pillars still give me the rage!

Also, I don’t mind doing the grocery shopping but hate putting it away when I get home.

Primary colours together on shop signs.

When kids put their fingers in the corner of their mouth and pull like a big wide smile. A woman from DC's nursery always posts photos of her daughter doing it and it makes me feel weak.

Absolutely cannot stand anyone sticking their tongue out in photos. I'm seeing it more and more lately. Is it a thing now to stick your tongue out instead of just smiling like a normal person? Gross.
