I was remembering back when I was kid, my Nan would pick us up from school, and take us back to her house where we would have a small tea.

One thing we loved was tidgy puds and gravy. I was gutted when they stopped doing tidgy puds

Mint flavour choc ice magic.
You can buy similar stuff now but (1) it’s not as good and goes all horrible in the bottle (I presume whatever they put in ice magic to make it work is now banned!), and (2) it’s always salted caramel etc flavour, never mint. Also I miss the nice blobby lid.

Pan Yan pickle. It was different to Branston in a subtle way but was much nicer.

NewToWoo · 14/12/2022 13:46

Nutty bars. Soft fudgy caramel rolled in unsalted peanuts. I loved them.

Sharp apples that tasted of apple not sugary fibre. I miss them so much.

Inchysaurus · 14/12/2022 13:49

Coffee biscuits that had coffee flavour icing on them. There is another brand still making them but they taste very different.

treadcarefully · 14/12/2022 14:18

Chocolate spread. It was dark chocolate and not a hazelnut in sight

Ohdearnotagain76 · 14/12/2022 14:19

Sheldoncoopersspot · 14/12/2022 14:23

I really miss toast toppers

Merrow · 14/12/2022 14:23

Creamola foam. I'm sure it wouldn't taste as good as I remember, but I used to love it!

MrsKippling · 14/12/2022 14:24

These, I think about them all the time. Loved them.

So Did I. Most people didn't but I loved them.

Nestlé sterilised cream in a tin.

SamphirethePogoingStickerist · 14/12/2022 14:27

Another for toast toppers

And nutty fudge. How had I forgotten that?

I still dream about Cadburys chocolate spread from the 70’s. Had the consistency of marmite and like you say no hazelnuts.

reesewithoutaspoon · 14/12/2022 14:29

Cadbury lovely chocolate pudding. I loved them

BobbinThreadbare123 · 14/12/2022 14:30

Really Ruthless Crisps! Spicy goodness

wadiwalker · 14/12/2022 14:31

Deltas. Those salty little triangle snacks. They were so good. 80s party nibbles staple but I remember buying until early -mid noughties from sainsburys then they totally vanished.

IamThegreaterMole · 14/12/2022 14:33

Birds Eye brunchies. Beige freezer food, but I loved them.

K1ran · 14/12/2022 14:33

I know you said food but 5 Alive juice. The citrus flavour

Janbohonut · 14/12/2022 14:34

Dessert Nougat. I remember being a kid and at any kind of celebratory situation there would be a box of it.

EnglishGirlApproximately · 14/12/2022 14:35

Birds Hot Crunch Puddings. I often really fancy a pud but can't be bothered to make anything or wait for something to cook, and wish I had these to hand.

glasshole · 14/12/2022 14:36

Muddy pigs ice cream.
