I was remembering back when I was kid, my Nan would pick us up from school, and take us back to her house where we would have a small tea.

One thing we loved was tidgy puds and gravy. I was gutted when they stopped doing tidgy puds

What are tidgy puds? Google is not my friend.

I remember Goblin meat puddings in a tin. They dropped them, but now do them in microwaveable plastic pots.

When I was little, there was nothing I loved more than Bird's Eye Rissoles. I would love to try them again now!

Tuichi · 16/12/2022 14:21

Chocolate yoghurt. Not chilled puddings or mousses, but runny, slightly sour yoghurt. I found it a bit disappointing as a child because it wasn’t truly chocolatey but I’d love one now.

I remember the Eden Vale chocolate yoghurts with the layer of solid chocolate over the top. I hade one every day in my packed lunch.

Just thought of another one - Ben and Jerry's Coffee Coffee Buzz Buzz Buzz ice cream, miss it so much!

skips22 · 16/12/2022 14:32

Sara Lee Pecan Danish from the freezer section...god I miss them!

Ladybird69 · 16/12/2022 20:46

I lived on Quaker hazelnuts crunch when I was young, could eat boxes and boxes of it each week. I really miss it.

@celandinenook come to Ireland. you can buy meanies everywhere. I buy a large multipack every week

Yes, widely available. Ireland seems to be like this with crisps. Like that island full of dinosaurs in that weird war movie.

@NewToWoo , I'm getting delicious Coxes in Morrison's at the moment.

Ooh. Thank you for the tip. No Morrison's near us but I might find out where the nearest one is and make the trip.

Golden cup bars, wrapped in foil and lovely runny caramel in chocolate.
Milk tray bars, oh my, my Saturday treat as a kid, basically milktray chocolates in a bar.

Imnotswallowingthat · 17/12/2022 09:39

Vesta Beef Risotto

pfcpompeysarah · 17/12/2022 10:19

Munch bunch blackberry yoghurt, they were so bloody lovely 😍

Cassie71 · 18/12/2022 19:37

Germolene flavoured chewing gum. I think it was called bazooka joe.

mrwalkensir · 18/12/2022 20:45

yes yes yes beguilingeyes - butter osbornes were completely perfect

FlibbertyGibbitt · 18/12/2022 20:47

Sara Lee Pecan nut pie. Slowly warmed up so the icing had melted on top. The top was slightly crusty and the inside goey. Add big fat double cream. Orgasmic .

TabbyBeast · 20/12/2022 19:09

Been thinking of more:

Mr Men yoghurts (can't seem to get normal yoghurts now, it's all low fat, activia etc.)

United biscuit bars

Lemon glazed frozen doughnuts from Bejam / Iceland

Eh? The antiseptic?

Growlybear83 · 20/12/2022 20:19

I remember the Mr Men yoghurts - each pot had a tiny plastic Mr Men figure in the lid. My daughter had a huge collection of them.

Reasonablereasonableness · 20/12/2022 21:59

I don't know if it's the same but this seems to be a re creation of Creamola foam:

I miss Golden Cup chocolate and a chocolate dessert with whipped cream topping that M&S used to do.

I too mourn toast toppers. I wrote to Heinz about their disappearance. No response

2bazookas · 21/12/2022 00:17

pink junket.

My dad and his team invented all these in the 80’s. He ran the Birdseye Walls factory in Gloucester and his r and d people came up with Feast, Romero, Romantica, Viennetta and Gino Ginelli, also Calypso etc. we used to visit on Christmas Day and take the maintenance people on duty hot sausage rolls. The heyday of icecream. Dad died a few years ago. He loved telling us how they got the chocolate middle into Feast or the layers into Viennetta. It isn’t made so well now . Fewer choccy layers .

Symingtons Table Cream is another one I miss- I think they did a peach flavour? There was definitely a maple one.

I hated toast Toppers, as a kid! But I liked Findus Crispy Pancakes...
