Your first perfume

Can you remember what your first proper perfume was? I was looking for a perfume for dd12 for Christmas and I sniffed one and it instantly took me back to 1994 it was identical to the original United colours of Benetton perfume, I got a bit excited and said to the girl in the shop who nodded along sympatheticly with the old woman!!

I always (still do) liked 4711 BUT the first one I really liked and bought for myself was called 5am. Of course, being me, is was discontinued before I'd bought a replacement, a lesson learned. I now have a wide range of perfumes (everyone keeps saying they go off but I've not noticed it) and seldom buy one of anything I really like. I had bought three of a particular brand years back and just sold one on ebay recently as I reckoned I'm never going to get through three bottles. I have some gorgeous scents. One of my sisters favourites was /is L'air du temps. I don't know if that's still made but it is a lovely scent.

Avon FoxFire I think. From my gran. The first I bought for myself was Obsession and I still wear it, it's my favourite.

Exclamation! I won it in a magazine comp and also won socks with exclamation marks all over them

My first was either Dewberry , White Musk or Sunflowers and my first proper expensive one was CKone! I wish they still did Dewberry!!! 😍

My very first were Christmas presents when I was 12, I got Charlie and Smitty, I thought I was very grown up 😂
My first adult perfumes were Rive Gauche and Anais Anais

L'Air du temps, Chanel 19 and Miss Dior up to mid 20s.

I loved one from Miss Selfridge but can't remember that it was called. If anyone can remember one I'd love to be reminded

I used to "borrow" from my mum's CK range in the mid 90s.
Had samples given by grandparent as a 14 year old, Anaïs Anaïs was one that stood out (thought I was so sophisticated 😁). Lancome perfume for Christmas age 13 can't remember which one.

ESP (Extra Sensory Perfume 😂) think it was Yardley. I still have an old bottle and a hint of the fragrance remains. I’m instantly transported to the under 18’s disco, gelled hair, rollerball lipgloss and my white top with gold lurex stripes.

Poison - awful stuff!

Body Shop Tea Rose I think. Still like a rose scent.

I recently bought myself a bottle of Cerruti 1881, which I wore in my teens, after discovering I still love it.
