Anyone else in the queue?

I'm logged in for my Mum on one device - queue position 6235 & on my phone for myself - queue position 8901

Hope they start opening up soon 🤞🏻

Booted again and 205000!

I logged in at 5; on two Apps and the website after last years fiasco! The Apps put me straight in the queue when it opened at around 5.40ish. I was all done and dusted with an early slot for the 23rd by 6.18.

I'm 22536 with a 20 minute wait

Over an hour wait here. Bizarre because last year I was straight in and out. Maybe more people logging on this year. I don't need a slot particularly close to Christmas anyway but the waiting is boring.

This is true for us too actually. Wonder if all supermarkets are the same. We considered switching but stuck with Tesco and do an Aldi top up as it is often fruit that is unavailable when we order.

Still over 200,000 so maybe the Christmas shop decision is made for me 🙄

When I checked the app at 5.45 I was around 33000 in the queue, I’m still waiting now on 6675.

I logged in at 5.40 ish, got in at 6.10 and got my slot.

Can you get more than one slot, or do you have to queue again for another ?

What's the slots for? Sorry I'm in Ireland and have no idea what's going on. Is it to shop in the actual supermarket or to get an online delivery?

You can get more than one. I booked our usual Saturday slot for the 17th Dec whilst there.

@OliviaFlaversham I don't think all shops are the same for booking Christmas slots.

I got myself an Ocado and Waitrose slot without queuing and waiting.

I also booked a shop for a relative via Sainsbury's without an issue. I just checked Sainsbury's and (locally to me anyway) they still have loads of slots still available, all the way through the 24th. I am not sure if it's still delivery pass holders or not. They realised a couple of weeks ago for pass holders.

Ps...... I am not actually queuing for Tesco btw, before someone asks me why I need another Christmas slot. Just saw so many queuing threads and came to see what the fuss was about.

I’m in now but it’s really glitchy, keep getting “sorry something went wrong” and “having difficulty updating your basket” messages.

I have Waitrose slot booked on 23rd for fresh stuff and a few luxuries but am queuing for my usual Tuesday slot as I have midweek saver so not much good this year as can only have Tues-Thurs with Tesco.

I'm at 134000 now... So gone down about 30000 in 30 mins... Hope I'm not on the school run when it gets there 😬

It is a good point - I hadn’t thought about my normal Saturday delivery!

Is it just for a food delivery around christmas? Is there anything extra? Are other shops just as popular or just Tesco?

I’m 23400 in the queue with a wait time of over an hour.

I'm currently at 47k with a wait time of 36 mins.

Finally in and every time I try to book a slot it says 'sorry' unable to/error!!
