Just added to a thread about discontinued confectionery. Made me think about adverts that stick in your mind. What nostalgic adverts do you remember well?

The Rolo advert, which featured a horrid child who teased an elephant.

Denim aftershave, with the woman's hand snaking down the hairy chested man's shirt.

The 70's Frys Turkish Delight ad and the M&S Christmas one with Sean Bean saying 'Men bearing gifts'

The only advert I remember from my childhood is the gorilla playing the drums.

I think it was for strepsills. A woman eats some bread, then has a sore throat, looks back at it and it morphs into tree bark. So she takes a strepsill and it turns into a mini first aid kit between her fingers. And suddenly she's fine!
