Just added to a thread about discontinued confectionery. Made me think about adverts that stick in your mind. What nostalgic adverts do you remember well?

There was also ‘the red car and the blue car had a race’ which was so popular they brought it back years later!

There was one for Buttercup syrup that nobody but me and my sister seem to remember, where he's trying to pull a sickie on the phone to his boss.

I remember that one. That bloke was Simon Pegg

As well as the classics already mentioned:

Bran Flakes…they’re tasty, tasty, very very tasty, they’re very tasty.

Ski yoghurts, with the James-Bondesque yoghurt skiing down the mountain.

All because the lady loves…Milk Tray.

And the Harvest Crunch bar adverts…watch out for the squirrels!

In the 80s I remember one with a milkman delivering milk. All the milk bottles were dancing behind him in a line. And scuttling off to which ever house he said. I loved that one when I was little.

A finger of fudge is just enough to give your kids a treat. 😱

I watch the ad on YouTube and I can smell my school hall! 🤣

The Tango adverts were great. Some guy waiting at a bus stop and the orange tango man comes running down the street and slaps him on both cheeks. There were ones in the advert series and they were all great.

Remember lots of classic ones.
