Just added to a thread about discontinued confectionery. Made me think about adverts that stick in your mind. What nostalgic adverts do you remember well?

Does anyone remember the Tiscali broadband adverts from the very early 2000s used to love guessing what would be revealed. Boiled eggs, to bald mens heads etc 🤣.

Which was the one where someone hit someone's knuckles with a spoon? Bisto or Nescafé or something?

I remember an Adidas one - Belly's gonna get you. Weird, but memorable.

Also was there one with a teen girl who was restless or in teen love or something with 'Should I stay or should I go?"

Also the beer adverts. I think it was Castlemain xxxx set in Australian. They are loading up a truck full of beer and one of the men says ‘a little something for the ladies,’ and puts 2 bottles of wine in the truck. The truck collapses under the weight and they decide to take off the wine.

The song went something like - 'spread it on your spoon - spoon, spread it on your toast -toast', and had a walking wooden spoon in the advert.
I loved that advert.

The very posh plane in an advert for imperial leather soap. The soap even had its own seatbelt in its soap dish. I really wanted to go in that plane.
