Why does my steak look like this?

Rump, grilled as I always do my steaks.

I usually have sirloin but they were out so got rump instead.

It looks extremely 'wrinkly' to me.

Is this standard for rump?

Rump is a working area of the cow, and therefore have more wrinkles especially if cooked longer.

sirlion is not a particular working area and thus a higher grade and less wrinkles
