For me, nothing yesterday and today a taxi into town in the rain £8, and a dumpling lunch for me and dd £25.
Dd bought me two face masks for £1.60.

Pondering spending some birthday money online this evening on art materials.

Went a bit mad buying wooden kids toys in Lidl and Aldi, a lot of them are age 3+ and my son is only 1 so they won't get used for ages but they were so beautiful I couldn't resist.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 23/10/2022 15:22

Jeans
Earl Grey and a cheese scone in M&S cafe
A new silicon spoon plus some food bits in Sainsbo's

Ringbling85 · 23/10/2022 15:23

We bought the kids new trainers each, dd got 2 fleeces and 1 hoody, DS got 1 fleece, I got 1 fleece, dh got new jeans and a new jumper. That was not a typical Saturday for us at all though.

TeaAddict235 · 23/10/2022 15:24

Bought a lovely new linen mix top from Mango. It's a dream!

Also bought a Colgate toothwhitener, and some face serum from Diadermine. Was actually on the look out for a gift for a friend

NewBootsAndRanty · 23/10/2022 15:26

£12 on two mohair jumpers on Ebay, £7 on postage.

Dox9 · 23/10/2022 15:26

I spent wayyyyy too much, ££££. We are away on holiday without dc though for the first time since becoming parents 8 years ago. I have had ALL the lovely food & drink. Clothing and footwear is nice and more reasonable here too so I have bought a whole new winter wardrobe.

PuttingDownRoots · 23/10/2022 15:27

Christmas shopping yesterday... 2 wetsuits and two camping backpacks. Plus a boot bag for one DD. (Expensive Christmas this year, but the backpacks should last them through the teen years and beyond hopefully!)

Plus some walking boots for DD2 but she needs them now not Christmas.

SunshineAndSeeds · 23/10/2022 15:29

Bought loads of hazel hurdles to hide our very ugly front fence, both sides. The garden is my peaceful place so it’s made me happy. There are practical considerations too - needed more of a windbreak to protect the new hedge plants.

Numbersarefun · 23/10/2022 15:32

Nothing here - only been out to dog walk and go to church.

Donepaying · 23/10/2022 15:33

Had my hair done yesterday .. too scared to admit to the cost
I went home for lunch and coffee - which I managed to justify saved a tenner 🤭

Bugbeau · 23/10/2022 15:34

A Cornish pasty & a Diet Coke! Not the biggest spender for myself!

Crunchymum · 23/10/2022 15:34

Booked a holiday.

UK trip, last minute (we regularly rent a cottage and they had a last minute cancellation so offered us a very good deal)

We are off first thing for a 6 day break.

Definitely not something we usually buy.

thenotsoeviltwin · 23/10/2022 15:35

Spoiled the car, bought it £51 of diesel.

ImGood · 23/10/2022 15:37

Food and a reed diffuser for my bedroom.

lovelilies · 23/10/2022 15:39

A breakfast at work after night shift this am, £1.75, the woman didn't charge for the ketchup- win!

MrsTruss · 23/10/2022 15:39

Bought a knitted tank top. That's all.

Inextremis · 23/10/2022 15:41

Bought more spring bulbs for a potted bulb 'lasagne' (tulips at the bottom, then mini daffs, then crocus) - the idea being that they flower in turn and keep a display going from Feb - April at least. Also some anti-chafe shorts :) Oh, and on Friday I ordered 6 more bottles of wine (3 white, 3 red) and some Advocaat for Christmas.

CamdenLurker · 23/10/2022 15:42

Nothing yesterday, £25 on a leg wax this morning, £13 on a pair of Gym leggings that were 1/2 price and some body scrub for a few quid, I also picked up an online order of Percy & Reed no oil oil that was recommended in the Mumsnet email a few days ago, I'm a sucker!!

SunshineLollipopsAndRainbows · 23/10/2022 15:43

I have shopped but mainly groceries. Bought wine both days & a scratch card yesterday (won the cost of it back). Treated myself to a Colgate whitening toothpaste today. I had veneers years ago but they didn’t last. Can’t imagine having a perfect dazzling smile!

TheChosenTwo · 23/10/2022 15:44

2 pairs of flipflops and a bottle of face misting stuff for a holiday in a couple of weeks, (along with some suncream, deet spray and some travel mini toiletries - I don’t count these as personal spends though as they’re also for the benefit of dh!!)
A candle from Costco and just about to order a couple of sets of swimwear.
lots of other spends this weekend but I wouldn’t count these as personal spends as they aren’t really for me. Christmas wrapping paper (also Costco), new lamp and bulb for the pet, paid the next half term of football for ds, bought dd and her friend bubble tea, ordered a usb bank for work stuff and also done a little food top up of the nice treat bits I forgot to add onto the delivery.

Marmite27 · 23/10/2022 15:47

3 pairs thermal leggings and 3 long sleeve thermal vests in Primark. £38.

We’re in a situation at home where everyone else is in shorts and t-shirts and I’m shivering. I had some of these years ago and really regretted throwing them away. They had sleeveless vests back then though, that I preferred.

ouch321 · 23/10/2022 15:50

Bus fare
Tangfastics

Tiredalwaystired · 23/10/2022 15:51

Some spinach and an onion today. About £1

Rosesara · 23/10/2022 15:55

£50 on a night out with friends on Friday, including taxi and drinks.

£5 on a new lip liner

£7 on Halloween decorations in pound land.

£61 treating my husband and DC To lunch out today.

Was your bedroom hungry?
