Agree with anyone saying Braverman is unfit for office both on her woeful actual record of dealing with problems and with her irresponsible dangerous rhetoric.
Suella Braverman accused of inflammatory language over 'invasion' comment

‘In a Tweet, Ms Cooper said: "No home secretary who was serious about public safety or national security would use highly inflammatory language on the day after a dangerous petrol bomb attack on a Dover initial processing centre."
Some 4,000 people are being held at the Manston processing centre, which is only designed to accommodate 1,600 people on a temporary basis.
Hundreds of people were moved there on Sunday after a man threw firebombs at a separate immigration centre in Dover. He was later found dead nearby.’
Just putting this link here for the record.
Absolutely shameful. I am very glad Yvette Cooper has picked up on it while agreeing there’s other things too to criticise Braverman for apart from her use of language. But inflammatory language, plus a misleading representation of the causes of a bad situation are a potent and dangerous combination, as we have seen time and time again throughout history so it’s right to criticise it.
My fear is people numbers and administrative and practical chaos are being ramped up deliberately both to demonise displaced asylum seekers and therefore get consensus for increasingly extreme and unwarranted methods of deterring and (illegally) punishing them but also to cover up on the breakdown of the UK’s relationships with EU countries (caused by Brexit) plus it will be used as another justification to get rid of the Human Rights Act. Which is so unbelievably threatening to ALL of us because it’s taking away legal protections for EVERYONE. But that’s what Tories want. Let that sink in. Less legal protections for all of us.
Sunak needs to sack Braverman and get someone credible in very quickly. He hasn’t got a secure government and surely out of good old Tory party self interest, he can’t afford this. She’s become the story.
