Cats23 · 27/09/2022 13:17

£100-100 Electric - (2xadults,3xdc, Terrace 3xbed house)
£520 for 500Ltrs of oil 2x a year going forward.

Wishingforwinter · 27/09/2022 13:22

We usually pay £85 a month, Octobers will be about £16 as our provider are deducting direct from the direct debit.

We're fixed from August 21 to August 23

Swedecabbagelime · 27/09/2022 13:24

Using around £100. DD £195.

Spudina · 27/09/2022 13:24

About £84 electricity, on a meter.
My gas DD is £500 a month, not on a meter. It sucks. Stone cottage that doesn’t stay warm.

TangoWhiskyAlphaTango · 27/09/2022 13:26

I am fixed thankfully until October 2023 so still on lower prices. Currently £103 for a 3 bed Victorian house and in credit.

ivykaty44 · 27/09/2022 13:27

I’ve just done a meter reading for the last 13 days and it was £18.67 electric and gas

Newpuppymummy · 27/09/2022 13:27

Currently £175 for a three bed terrace. Going up to £199 in October

DeathMetalMum · 27/09/2022 13:28

My supplier upped my dd a couple of months ago to £88 for electricity now telling me I am paying too much. I am on a fixed tarrif until end of September (3more days) and haven't head a word on what my 'tarrif' will be or anything about the government information. Gas is £45 a month - all cooking is electric.

EnglishGirlApproximately · 27/09/2022 13:30

Ours has been £120 a month, our fixed has just ended and EON are reducing it to £53 a month due to the government rebate. Its obviously going to be more than that in winter but rather than have money tied up in eon we'll keep an eye on it on the app and make additional payments as needed.

NewBootsAndRanty · 27/09/2022 13:32

£32 so far this month for gas, ele and standing charges; my DD is £75.

ivykaty44 · 27/09/2022 13:34

Those of you giving your figures for direct debit, how much electric and gas are you actually using?

summergone · 27/09/2022 13:35

Using about £100, paying £184. We are £394 in credit . I was in touch with SP yesterday our dd isn't increasing in October .

summergone · 27/09/2022 13:35

@ivykaty44 we use about 6-8kw a day electric . Barely any gas as the heating isn't on yet so just the gas hob

MiracleBaby2022 · 27/09/2022 13:38

£55 a month

torquewench · 27/09/2022 13:39

I've just had an email saying my Direct debits going down by £70 a month because I'm over £850 in credit.

Cheeselog · 27/09/2022 13:39

Still £47 - my supplier never increased them after our fix ended in March. According to the MSE calculator it will go to £55 with the £400 discount factored in.

NewBootsAndRanty · 27/09/2022 13:39

ivykaty44 · 27/09/2022 13:34

Those of you giving your figures for direct debit, how much electric and gas are you actually using?

32kwh ele, 66kwh gas.

LoveBluey · 27/09/2022 13:41

£70 elec / £35 gas based on actual monthly readings.

DD is higher than that but haven't got heating on yet so gas will be much higher over the next few months.

NewBootsAndRanty · 27/09/2022 13:42

^ that's from 1-24 Sept.
My supplier's estimate for annual usage is 3,300kwh gas and 1,300kwh electric. I think the electric estimate is way over.

Ilovetocrochet · 27/09/2022 13:43

£94 per month on fixed term tariff, with £250 in credit. Tariff ends next month, have been asked to pay £240 a month but I am going to refuse and offer to pay less. I just need to work out how much I used last year and calculate the cost based on the tariffs for after October - based on the new price cap.

YumYummy · 27/09/2022 13:55

It was £190 but it’s going up to
£332. This is partly because we got an electric car just after our last review around March/April time so we haven’t been paying the true amount for the last 6 months.
We are on a fantastic fixed rate until Sept 24.
The works out at £70 per month and we used to spend £400 on petrol.

ivykaty44 · 27/09/2022 13:56

31.67kwh gas for me and 32kwh electric in 13 days for me

@NewBootsAndRanty Is that over a month for you? 32kwh ele, 66kwh gas.

dementedpixie · 27/09/2022 13:57

My usage last month is as shown. Direct debit amount will be £173 for the next few months as Octopus are reducing it due to the £400 payment we're all getting
