This is a real good guide for all the timings for tomorrow - www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-60617519

The bit at the end with the Lord Chamberlain will be the hardest to watch I think, signaling the end of his service to her, as will the act of separating her from her crown.

I know everyone isn't a royalist but today will be such a sad occasion.

That’s at Windsor

BruceAndNosh · 19/09/2022 12:15

Is it a different bearer party for coffin?

GaffNest · 19/09/2022 12:15

Beautiful service bar that organ at the end.

TugboatAnnie · 19/09/2022 12:15

Beatrice and Eugenie had to get up to let Harry and Meghan out

Such a long day for the family. They must be shattered.

It's been a long week for them. Their faces look so sad

powershowerforanhour · 19/09/2022 12:15

Organ music is dull filler to get everyone in position but when they are carrying your parent out past you, then you join in behind and walk out past all the congregation it's hard to hold it together, so I'm glad for her family that they didn't have really beautiful poignant music at that point.

Bouledeneige · 19/09/2022 12:15

We dont get to hear all the private and personal tributes and memories. The Queen always had two lives - the public and formal and behind closed doors the personal. I don't think we have a right to be part of it all.

Jellykat · 19/09/2022 12:15

Same bearers Bruce

itsgettingweird · 19/09/2022 12:16

I'm so glad others were ConfusedHmm at the organ music.

I thought one of the keys had got stuck and the organist was valiantly playing on.

But it was awful.

LeonardoAcropolis · 19/09/2022 12:16

Were there leaders of other faiths present?

Is it a different bearer party for coffin?

The same I think. They've done amazing. Their families must be so proud of them.

So if George and Charlotte stayed homHarry and Meghan would’ve been sat in the front row.

Not necessarily.

Their row was one longer than the row behind, they may have just made it one less.

TheIsaacs · 19/09/2022 12:16

Ah I’ve just spotted the York princesses and Zara by the door of the abbey, curtsying as they all go past.

Benefi · 19/09/2022 12:16

I didn't realise that the gun carriage guard had been stood outside all this time.

Jellykat · 19/09/2022 12:16

What do those in the Abbey do now?

I agree.

RedDwarfGarbagePod · 19/09/2022 12:16

It sounds like quite useful improvised organ music - it's not in a clear key so you can just end it as soon as you need to, rather than having to plough on to the end of a piece or suddenly and awkwardly modulate to a V-I cadence!

OhAmBackAgain · 19/09/2022 12:16

Why are people complaining about the organ? This is what organs sound like

not with odd bum notes, and miss timings, and the piece of music chosen wasn't exactly a nice one either.

Helgadaley · 19/09/2022 12:16

The pall bearers are doing a fantastic job. Huge admiration for them.

I agree. Private family memories should remain just that.

Mummyoflittledragon · 19/09/2022 12:17

I was also expecting something more personal. But I’ve never seen a state funeral before.

EdieLedwell · 19/09/2022 12:17

Bearers were absolutely amazing

TugboatAnnie · 19/09/2022 12:15

Beatrice and Eugenie had to get up to let Harry and Meghan out

Eugenie was sat in a completely different place from Harry and Meghan - across an aisle.

And both of their husbands walked up with their mother, Zara and co. They didn’t.

BruceAndNosh · 19/09/2022 12:17

Jellykat · 19/09/2022 12:15

Same bearers Bruce

Thank you.

ColinRobinsonsFart · 19/09/2022 12:17

My theory - Louis is playing the organ!

i love an organ (ooo er missus) but played only by the great Rick Wakeman!
