This is a real good guide for all the timings for tomorrow - www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-60617519

The bit at the end with the Lord Chamberlain will be the hardest to watch I think, signaling the end of his service to her, as will the act of separating her from her crown.

I know everyone isn't a royalist but today will be such a sad occasion.

The marching is amazing.

I can’t even clap in time.

They look fantastic.

Benefi · 19/09/2022 09:54

Some of these ratings look so young.

(Does the non-commentary not have the marching shown right now?).

TheChemicalsAintGotYouBaby · 19/09/2022 09:55

Do the marchers have special dispensation to step out of formation to avoid the horse 💩?

Sorry - a bit crude, but there was quite a lot!

GoodbyeLilibet · 19/09/2022 09:56

@Heyyebskeikwbevg H
The Archbishop of Westminster is in the procession as one of the representatives of churches in England (page 4 of order of service).

Vapeyvapevape · 19/09/2022 09:56

@TheChemicalsAintGotYouBaby They have to March through it .

IpanemaChic · 19/09/2022 09:57

I did find those pipers marching very moving.

ApolloandDaphne · 19/09/2022 09:58

It's going to be very impressive.

Likewhatever · 19/09/2022 09:58

I’m switching between the two and the coverage is different. No commentary version is of the inside of the Abbey, guests arriving, etc. They may come together in due course.

elizaregina · 19/09/2022 09:59

I missed the marching.

Bridgette Macron looks good.

HansZimmerframe · 19/09/2022 09:59

I am currently sat alone in my bed upstairs watching it on BBC player on my phone because no one else in the house is interested. DS in front room playing video games, husband is indifferent and watching daughter who has thrown a tantrum when I turned it on the TV because she wanted to watch kids play with toys on YouTube 😑

SlatternIsMyMiddleName · 19/09/2022 10:01

The parade! I love a good parade.

sagalooshoe · 19/09/2022 10:02

The BBC are going to talk all the way through it aren't they. Why can't they SHUT UP. I can't hear the band just the fucking incessant commentary from THE BBC. BBC if you listening please STOP THE CONSTANT TALKING YOU ARE RUINING IT!

elizaregina · 19/09/2022 10:02

Two men just walked in sporting shoes and sandles?

elizaregina · 19/09/2022 10:03

I love the bell tolling.

NeckFanInSoftPlay · 19/09/2022 10:04

Aren't these military marches absolutely exquisite?
Anyone on here whose partner/family member is marching today - I just want to pass on my personal thanks & appreciation of them. The hard work, the exhaustion (from rehearsing at 3:45am every day!), the skill, and most likely the nerves...! It's an heroic effort in my eyes.

If you goto the iPlayer there is a no commentary version

Benefi · 19/09/2022 10:05

@sagalooshoe would you be happier watching the non-commentary version, do you think?

@elizaregina there are representatives from around the world, many will be in versions of national dress of course.

ListenLinda · 19/09/2022 10:05

I wondered why many people were seated so early.
I’m currently watching on Sky News

elizaregina · 19/09/2022 10:07

Yes , but shorts and sandal's 🤣👑.

Macron has come apparently to "share our pain".

Biden and Jill look super smart.

elizaregina · 19/09/2022 10:07

I always flick between sky and BBC.

Benefi · 19/09/2022 10:08

Yes, the Bidens do look very smart.

Bouledeneige · 19/09/2022 10:08

Sweet. All her close staff - ladies in waiting - pretty ancient too

I'm really enjoying the commentary. Learning who the guests are like the ladies of her household and hearing the commentator point out heads of state and interesting facts. It would be quite boring without it. Although I do agree that they shouldn't talk the whole way through when the bands playing.

Northernlurker · 19/09/2022 10:09

I think that was Angela Kelly at the back of the group of Queen's ladies. Hope she's ok.

Benefi · 19/09/2022 10:09

All of these archaic outfits must look strange to Americans.
