I know everyone isn't a royalist but today will be such a sad occasion.

DS in front room playing video games, husband is indifferent and watching daughter who has thrown a tantrum when I turned it on the TV because she wanted to watch kids play with toys on YouTube 😑

Anyone on here whose partner/family member is marching today - I just want to pass on my personal thanks & appreciation of them. The hard work, the exhaustion (from rehearsing at 3:45am every day!), the skill, and most likely the nerves...! It's an heroic effort in my eyes.

I'm really enjoying the commentary. Learning who the guests are like the ladies of her household and hearing the commentator point out heads of state and interesting facts. It would be quite boring without it. Although I do agree that they shouldn't talk the whole way through when the bands playing.

I think that was Angela Kelly at the back of the group of Queen's ladies. Hope she's ok.
