What's the temperature inside your house right now?

Our heating is controlled by Hive and our thermostat is in our hall and it's showing as 16.9 degrees. The two living room radiators are 15.7 and 16.2 but bizarrely it doesn't actually feel that cold to me so the heating isn't on.

What's the temperature in your house right now and is your heating on?

21.4 but it feels a lot colder.

nancydroo · 15/09/2022 21:08

21 degrees and the heating is on. Bit weird now you mention it!

SlipperyLizard · 15/09/2022 21:09

Hive says 18.6 in the room I’m in. No way would I put the heating on in September - but I am snuggled under a blanket.

Squiff70 · 15/09/2022 21:10

20 5C. There's no way I'm having the heating on in September!

dottyrobin · 15/09/2022 21:11

No heating, good insulation. 21c inside

BeyondMyWits · 15/09/2022 21:11

22 deg, but no heating on. House is well insulated and I used the oven to make dinner.

PurpleMoonbows · 15/09/2022 21:11

21.6. No heating on.

Pumkp · 15/09/2022 21:12

How do you all know the temperature?

I've no heating on and have no idea

Dannexe · 15/09/2022 21:12

Hallway is showing 20. No heating on. It’s been a bit chilly in the mornings but warming up throughout the day here.

Our thermostat shows the current temperature.

watcherintherye · 15/09/2022 21:13

I don’t know what the temperature is, but I’m feeling cold. Our heating’s not on.

Dogsgottabone · 15/09/2022 21:13

17.5 and it feels perfectly pleasant. No way does the heating come on above 15. I hate Central heating and I'm dreading it coming on again. I'm asthmatic so it's awful.

DH loves warmth in the house though.

TorviShieldMaiden · 15/09/2022 21:13

19.5. I’m definitely putting heating on this early and wouldn’t anyway for this temp.

GayParis · 15/09/2022 21:13

18.5, no heating on!

Probably will try and get through most of winter with only a couple hours heating a day, maybe in the evening.

CatsForLife · 15/09/2022 21:14

19.5 with no heating on.

Itsasunshineyday · 15/09/2022 21:15

22°, I'm thoroughly enjoying the cooler days and nights. It's so much easier to work in.

LionessesRules · 15/09/2022 21:15

20 in our bedroom, apparently.
Absolutely no need for heating. We've just moved up to the 4.5tog duvet from the 1.5 tog.
Windows have been open for much of the afternoon.

Pumkp: our alarm clock has a temperature readout.

Itsasunshineyday · 15/09/2022 21:16

I've got a digital weather station.

Evidencebased · 15/09/2022 21:16

20 degrees.
Perfectly comfortable.
No heating.

meow1989 · 15/09/2022 21:16

19 - heating doesn't come on (automatically) until 18 and it's always off overnight anyway.

I've been a bit chilly today so have a jumper on but that's it.

lobsterkiller · 15/09/2022 21:16

Nest app is showing 19c. No heating on, way too early. I did have my heated throw on last night. Felt cozy ✨️

Introvertedandalone · 15/09/2022 21:17

16.5 in my boat. No heating till at least October I’m telling myself

wonderstuff · 15/09/2022 21:17

22 degrees, no heating on, newish house and we’re in the south. We’ve had windows open today and still have the window open at night in our room.
